Borderlands 4 Rippa Roadbirds Boss Guide and Legendary Drops

There’s almost nothing better in Borderlands 4 than repeatedly defeating a single boss, but taking on three at once is even better. That’s why the Rippa Roadbirds are considered one of the best bosses to farm for loot in the whole game. You’ll get a ton of items if you’ve made enough progress in Borderlands 4 to unlock this encounter.

The Rippa Roadbirds offer exclusive legendaries you can’t find anywhere else, and they’re also a fantastic place to collect other weapons because of the amount of loot they drop. There are three bosses, and each one has its own unique set of guns that they’ll drop when defeated. Here’s a guide on how to farm the Rippa Roadbirds and obtain their legendaries in Borderlands 4.

Borderlands 4 Rippa Roadbirds Boss Location

Okay, so I’ve been exploring Borderlands 4, and I found the Rippa Roadbirds! They’re located at Saw’s Clench, which is a Ripper Drill Site in the Ruined Sumplands. That’s up in the northern part of Carcadia Burn, pretty much on the northwestern edge of the map. You can’t just *find* them though – you have to kill a bunch of Rippers first to make the bosses actually show up!

As the boss fight starts, you’ll face three flying enemies: Lil Grunt, Baby Grunt, and Gruntubulous Vork. Each boss has a shield, but once you break through it, their health drops quickly. The best way to deal with their shields is to use shock damage, then follow up with accurate weapons like sniper rifles or any gun made by Jakobs.

This fight can be a little chaotic. Several Rippers will keep appearing throughout the arena, so use them to revive yourself if you go down. Otherwise, it’s a pretty simple one-on-one battle against the Rippa Roadbirds. Each of the three bosses drops its own unique loot, meaning you’ll get a lot of guns once the fight is over.

Rippa Roadbirds Legendary Drops

The Rippa Roadbirds have two dedicated legendary drops in Borderlands 4.

Legendary Description
Wombo Combo Assault Rifle Rip Rockets: Rockets automatically fire from the underbarrel.
Spinning Blade Grenade Juggler: Catch the rebound to refund a grenade charge.

Both weapons are excellent, but Wombo Combo is the one most players want. It’s a Vladof assault rifle with a built-in rocket launcher underneath, resulting in incredibly high damage. Spinning Blade is a fantastic alternative, particularly if your character focuses on using grenades. It returns your grenade charge when you successfully catch a ricochet.

Even if you aren’t looking for particular legendary weapons, the Rippa Roadbirds are excellent enemies to farm in Borderlands 4 because they drop a lot of loot overall. Since there are three bosses to defeat, you have a good chance of finding a strong legendary item.
