Almost every boss in Borderlands 4 has the potential to drop powerful gear, but Rocken Roller is a particularly good one to farm, no matter what kind of character build you’re using. While the fight is tough, it’s worth it because Rocken Roller can drop some of the best items in the game.

While it might be tough for newcomers, a well-developed character can easily defeat Rocken Roller and collect its valuable legendary items. Here’s a guide to help you farm Rocken Roller and get those rare drops.
How to Find and Beat Rocken Roller in Borderlands 4
You can find Rocken Roller at the very end of Trinket Crevass, which is an Auger Mine located in the Ruined Sumplands of Carcadia Burn. To get there, quickly travel to any safehouse within Carcadia Burn, then make your way to the northwestern part of the map. The entrance to Trinket Crevass is close to the ocean.
Auger Mines are unlocked after completing the Shadow of the Mountain main quest in Terminus Range.
The Trinket Crevass area is full of Pangolins – tough, armored enemies that curl into a ball to protect themselves when they’re low on health. To defeat them easily, bring a weapon that can dissolve armor (like a corrosive weapon) and another that deals fire damage for their normal health. After fighting a few Pangolins, you’ll find a checkpoint and a vending machine right outside Rocken Roller’s arena.
The Rocken Roller is coated in tough, glowing crystals that protect it from damage. You’ll need to break these crystals first. Then, use a fire-based weapon to deal the most damage to its health bar. Keep repeating this process until the boss is defeated and you clear the Auger Mine.
Rocken Roller Legendary Drops
Rocken Roller can drop two legendary items once defeated in Borderlands 4:

These two items are both very powerful, but in different ways. The AF1000 is considered one of the best healing items in the game, particularly if you prefer a hands-off playstyle. It provides healing over time with a long duration and a very fast recharge rate, essentially giving you constant health recovery.
The “San Saba Songbird” revolver is currently not working as intended. Normally, this Jakobs weapon deals extra damage for a short time after being drawn. When combined with abilities and gear that increase critical hit chance, it’s incredibly powerful, and with the right build, you can even defeat bosses in a single hit!
With only two legendary items available from Rocken Roller, you have a better chance of getting the specific gear you’re looking for. However, legendary items are still rare in *Borderlands 4*, so it’s a good idea to bring plenty of money in case you need to use Moxxi’s Big Encore more often than expected.
