Boruto: 7 Characters Who Will Surpass The Old Generation

I’m completely hooked on the current arc of Boruto, Two Blue Vortex! It’s amazing to see how much all the next-gen characters have developed. The three-year time skip really allowed them to blossom, and honestly, some of them are already reaching unbelievably powerful levels – it’s so exciting to watch!

There used to be a lot of discussion about whether the characters in Boruto could become stronger than those in Naruto. Now, as the story progresses, it seems increasingly likely. However, out of all the Boruto characters, only a few have the potential to surpass the previous generation.

7. Shikadai Nara

Shikadai Nara is Shikamaru’s son, and he’s inherited impressive abilities from both of his parents. While Shikamaru wasn’t known for his fighting skills – he was famous for his intelligence – Shikadai also shows a remarkable aptitude for thinking and strategy, potentially surpassing even his father in that area.

He hasn’t had his big break yet, but even the glimpses fans have seen show he has incredible potential and could really exceed his father’s expectations.

6. Chocho Akimichi

Chocho is the daughter of Choji and a surprisingly skilled ninja who doesn’t get the attention she deserves. While often overlooked, she’s very capable of using the Akimichi Clan’s powerful Expansion Jutsu.

On top of everything else, Chocho has become significantly stronger during the three-year time skip – strong enough to actually hit Jura and Mamushi. While she’s still developing, she has the potential to become even more powerful than Choji.

5. Mitsuki

Mitsuki is a well-known and incredibly powerful character created by Orochimaru as part of his experiment to build the perfect human. Despite being synthetic, Mitsuki has the potential to become even stronger than Orochimaru himself, and the other Legendary Sannin. Orochimaru has confirmed this potential, and Mitsuki’s progress is already evident, as demonstrated in the Two Blue Vortex arc.

4. Kawaki

Kawaki is now a remarkably powerful character in Boruto, particularly after the time skip. He can fully utilize the abilities granted by his Karma seal, and he’s also inherited skills from Isshiki, including techniques like Daikokuten and Sukunahikona.

Combining all of his abilities makes Kawaki an incredibly powerful fighter. Eventually, he’s predicted to surpass even Isshiki Otsutsuki in strength, becoming far more powerful than any character in the Naruto series.

3. Himawari Uzumaki

In the beginning of the Boruto series, Himawari wasn’t a major character. But recently, she’s been getting a lot more focus. The revelation that she shares a connection with Kurama, and Daemon’s recognition of her immense power, suggest she has the potential to become even stronger than the previous generation of ninjas.

Himawari is still a young ninja with a lot of potential, but fans can be confident she’s developing well and is on track to become very strong.

2. Sarada Uchiha

Sarada Uchiha is the daughter of Sasuke and Sakura, and she’s clearly inherited their strengths. She has the potential to become even stronger than both of her parents, and the story suggests she will. Sarada dreams of becoming Hokage, which means she’ll need to exceed the abilities of those who came before her.

I’m really excited to see Sarada grow as a ninja! Right now, she’s still developing and hasn’t quite reached the level of her parents, Sakura or Sasuke. But honestly, I think she absolutely has the potential to surpass them both, especially now that she’s awakened her Mangekyo Sharingan – it’s a huge step forward!

1. Boruto Uzumaki

I’ve been watching the Naruto series, and it’s clear to me that Boruto Uzumaki is currently the most powerful ninja. He’s grown up a lot, especially after his training with Sasuke. Now, he’s at a level where he can defeat incredibly strong opponents like Code and even the Shinju almost instantly.

Aside from Naruto’s incredibly powerful Baryon Mode, Boruto has already become stronger than any other ninja of the previous generation. And Boruto hasn’t even reached his full potential yet; he’s still learning to control and use the power of his Karma after the time skip. If he masters it, he’s likely to become an exceptionally powerful ninja, possibly god-level.
