This article contains spoilers from Boruto: Two Blue Vortex.
Sasuke Uchiha is considered one of the most powerful characters in the Naruto and Boruto universes, rivaling even Naruto Uzumaki, the Seventh Hokage. As a member of the Uchiha clan, he naturally possessed the Sharingan, and he later developed it further, unlocking abilities like the Mangekyo Sharingan and ultimately the Rinnegan.
In *Boruto*, Sasuke lost his Rinnegan when Momoshiki Otsutsuki stabbed him. Despite this loss, he remains a very powerful ninja, and fans know he still has many impressive skills.
Chidori
Sasuke’s Signature Technique

Sasuke’s Chidori is one of his most reliable and powerful moves. He originally learned it from Kakashi, but he’s since greatly improved the technique. Chidori delivers an incredibly fast, piercing attack that can often defeat enemies with a single hit. While it’s not always effective against extremely powerful opponents like the Otsutsuki clan, it remains a key ability Sasuke frequently uses in battle.
Genjutsu: Sharingan
The Power To Cast Illusions

As a huge fan of the Uchiha clan, I’ve always been amazed by the Sharingan, and it’s definitely one of their greatest strengths! Everyone knows it gives them incredible powers, but I think its ability to cast Genjutsu is seriously underestimated. Take Sasuke, for example – with his Sharingan, he can trap opponents in incredibly convincing illusions, setting them up for a knockout blow. It’s not quite as strong as the Genjutsu he could pull off with the Rinnegan (which he sadly doesn’t have right now), but it’s still a fantastic technique and a key part of his fighting style.
Kirin
A Powerful Lightning Strike
Sasuke’s Kirin is his second most powerful lightning-based technique, following only Indra’s Arrow. While Indra’s Arrow requires the chakra of Tailed Beasts – which Sasuke doesn’t have – Kirin is much more accessible for him. However, Kirin still needs some setup. Sasuke first uses fire techniques to create lightning clouds, setting the stage for the attack. Then, he combines this natural lightning with his own, unleashing a devastating strike capable of destroying almost anything in its path.
Amaterasu
Inextinguishable Black Flames

Sasuke’s Sharingan abilities are strong, but his Mangekyo Sharingan is what really makes him incredibly powerful. One of his most notable techniques is Amaterasu. It’s an extremely potent form of fire-based jutsu. Amaterasu lets Sasuke create black flames that can’t be extinguished until whatever they’re burning is completely destroyed.
Kagutsuchi
The Shape Transformation Of Amaterasu

Although Amaterasu is a powerful technique, its straightforward nature makes it predictable and relatively easy to dodge. However, Sasuke’s ability, Kagutsuchi, changes that. Kagutsuchi lets Sasuke fully control and reshape the black flames of Amaterasu, making it far more dangerous. With this control, he can transform the flames into different forms – like a sword – adjust their size, and even alter the path of the attack, giving him complete mastery over the technique.
Kagutsuchi Chidori
A Mixture Of Kagutsuchi And Chidori

Sasuke’s powerful technique, Kagutsuchi Chidori, debuted during his fight with Naruto Uzumaki. As the name suggests, it combines his Kagutsuchi and Chidori abilities, resulting in a devastating attack capable of defeating almost any opponent in the Naruto universe.
Susanoo
The Ultimate Uchiha Defense
I’ve always been amazed by Susanoo, which is definitely Sasuke’s most powerful ability. He can fully materialize it – a massive, incredibly strong form – and with it, he’s capable of destroying entire mountains. What’s even more impressive is how he combines Susanoo with his other techniques, like Chidori and Kagutsuchi. Even after years of seeing it in action, it’s still a truly incredible technique.
