This article contains spoilers from the Boruto series.
Summary
- Boruto Uzumaki wields tremendous power.
- Sarada Uchiha’s Mangekyo Sharingan is formidable.
- Naruto Uzumaki’s Baryon Mode outshines all.
As a keen observer of the anime world, I can’t help but acknowledge the significant role Masashi Kishimoto plays in keeping fans hooked on the Boruto series. Yet, it would be remiss to ignore the exceptional weekly quality that Ikemoto consistently delivers.
For nearly a decade, Boruto has consistently offered significant plot advancements to its audience while also unveiling exceptionally potent characters. In the series Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, Kishimoto introduces fans to some incredibly powerful ninjas like Boruto Uzumaki and Sarada Uchiha. Yet, it remains uncertain if the strongest ninja of all time will hail from the new generation, at least for now.
The Upcoming Generation Of Ninjas And Their Strength
- Boruto Uzumaki Holds Monstrous Powers
- Sarada Uchiha’s Mangekyo Sharingan Is Broken
Regarding the new generation of ninjas, it’s clear that two characters garner the most attention from fans – Boruto Uzumaki and Sarada Uchiha, who is Sasuke’s daughter. Initially, Boruto Uzumaki wasn’t particularly remarkable, but he did have a knack for ninjutsu.

After Boruto obtained power from Momoshiki Otsutsuki, he significantly advanced his abilities. Particularly during the time jump, Boruto honed his skills by learning Jutsu under Sasuke Uchiha and, later, after being sealed, from Kashin Koji. At present, it’s clear that Boruto Uzumaki is among the most powerful ninjas globally, capable of confronting even the mighty Shinju.
Instead of being just another potential top-tier ninja, Sarada Uchiha stands out as one of the strongest currently. Her Mangekyo Sharingan has been reactivated, giving her an edge that takes her to a new level. With the power of Ohirume, she can generate numerous black holes and manipulate gravity so intensely that opponents may be obliterated in a single strike. Sarada Uchiha’s skills have left fans in awe during her confrontation with Ryu, placing her among the strongest ninjas ever.
Naruto Uzumaki Is Still The Strongest Seen In Boruto
The Baryon Mode Gives Naruto An Unimaginable Edge
Despite Boruto Uzumaki and his Uzuhiko, as well as Sarada with her Ohirume being quite remarkable, fans acknowledge that they are not on par with Naruto Uzumaki during his Baryon Mode. Among all the ninjas viewers have encountered in Boruto, none can match Naruto Uzumaki’s prowess. Granted, the Baryon Mode was a temporary enhancement for Naruto Uzumaki, and the cost he paid for it was extremely high. Nevertheless, at that specific instant, Naruto Uzumaki was indomitable. Naruto’s power surge was so tremendous that he could engage Isshiki, the strongest character in Boruto, in combat on equal terms.
Come, Otsutsuki! I’ll show you what true resolve looks like. — Naruto Uzumaki
Indeed, it was evident that not only did Naruto hold his ground against Isshiki, but his strength surpassed the Otsutsuki clan as affirmed by Sasuke himself. At that instant, Naruto was invincible, a force no character in the narrative could’ve withstood. Regrettably, this surge of power was transient, ensuring that Naruto won’t scale those heights again as a ninja. Nevertheless, his battle against Isshiki Otsutsuki left fans spellbound and they eagerly anticipate his reappearance to cast his enchanting spells once more.
Will Naruto Be Surpassed?
Currently, it appears Boruto and Sarada are not yet in a position to outshine Naruto Uzumaki. Yet, fans are unsure of their full potential as they grow and develop. It’s possible that these two characters might surpass Naruto’s Baryon Mode in the future, but it’s uncertain at this point. Naruto has established an impressive standard that few may reach, but there could be some who come very close, provided Naruto Uzumaki does not acquire another power-up upon his eventual return from Daikokuten.
Among all the ninjas, it’s highly likely that Boruto and Sarada will be the most similar, with Sarada eventually taking on the role of Hokage, much like Naruto Uzumaki, and Boruto safeguarding the world that she governs, in a manner reminiscent of Sasuke Uchiha’s protection of Naruto Uzumaki.
Mark your calendars! On May 20, 2025, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 22 will be out. Excitingly, it’s scheduled to drop at 10 AM Eastern Standard Time or 3 PM Coordinated Universal Time.
