Boruto: Death Is Coming For This Major Character And Boruto Can’t Stop It

Death has become a recurring element in the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga, with several characters dying in recent issues. Given the presence of formidable enemies like Jura and the God Trees, alongside powerful ninja such as Boruto and Kawaki, it’s expected that characters – both important and minor – will continue to perish.

The latest chapter of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex hints at a significant character’s death – Kawaki Uzumaki. While Boruto Uzumaki won’t be unable to prevent it due to a lack of power, he’ll be unable to intervene because he’ll be incapacitated. Momoshiki Otsutsuki is predicted to be the one responsible, unless he doesn’t follow through on his agreement with Boruto.

This significantly boosts Boruto’s abilities, giving him full access to everything Momoshiki can do – including the full extent of Karma and Byakugan, and potentially even Rinnegan. Because Momoshiki has agreed, Boruto can use these powerful abilities in battle without risking losing control of himself.

Once Boruto defeats Jura and destroys the God Trees – fulfilling his end of their agreement – Momoshiki will take center stage. Momoshiki only helped Boruto with this fight to benefit himself, not out of genuine concern. His real aim is to take over Boruto’s body and mind, and providing Boruto with power is simply the quickest way to achieve that.

In chapter 29 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, Momoshiki bluntly stated he plans to kill Kawaki when Kawaki comes after him. Kawaki has consistently acted with hostility towards both Boruto and Momoshiki, unable to distinguish them as individuals. If Momoshiki completely takes over Boruto’s body, Kawaki will undoubtedly fight to protect Naruto and the village of Konoha.

This forced Momoshiki to fix Boruto’s heart, which meant giving up his opportunity to fully possess Boruto and be reborn.

It’s clear that Momoshiki deeply dislikes Kawaki. His hatred isn’t limited to Boruto; Kawaki ruined Momoshiki’s plans and forced him into hiding. That’s why Momoshiki wants Kawaki eliminated as soon as he’s free from controlling Boruto. He’s confident he can defeat Kawaki while possessing Boruto’s body.

The anticipated battle between Momoshiki and Kawaki might not happen if Jura and the God Trees defeat Boruto. Kawaki’s power has increased significantly since Amado removed his restrictions, and will continue to grow with further adjustments. However, this comes with a risk: his body might not be able to handle such immense power during a fight, particularly against strong opponents like Boruto and Momoshiki.

Because of their combined strength, Boruto and Momoshiki likely have a good chance of winning against Kawaki in a fight. Momoshiki can use his unique Otsutsuki powers along with Boruto’s abilities to defeat him.
