Boruto Explains How Sasuke Uchiha Surpassed Naruto Uzumaki In The End

So far, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex has been fantastic! Each new chapter brings big moments for fans, continuing a trend that started with the manga’s beginning. The series explores the journeys of characters of all ages, and even gives established heroes like Naruto and Sasuke significant roles after the events of the first part.

While Naruto Uzumaki hasn’t reappeared yet, Sasuke has already appeared in some chapters of the Two Blue Vortex manga. The creators, Masashi Kishimoto and Mikio Ikemoto, have officially confirmed that Sasuke Uchiha is now stronger than Naruto Uzumaki, at least for the time being. This happened during the three-year time jump in the Boruto series, right before Sasuke was turned into a tree. Even though he’s currently out of the main story, fans have seen his increased power, and it’s clear he’s reached a new level of strength.

Sasuke Trained For One Year During The Timeskip To Surpass Naruto

In the latest chapters of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, Sasuke Uchiha has demonstrably become stronger than Naruto Uzumaki. While unexpected to some, the manga confirms this development. The key to understanding this shift lies in the series’ timeskip. When the story jumped forward in time, Sasuke’s departure with Boruto, facilitated by Sarada, signaled a change in their relative power levels.

Sasuke told Naruto that, no matter the time period, Naruto’s spirit as a ninja would always stay true to itself.

After leaving the village, Sasuke began training Boruto Uzumaki, sharing all of his skills and techniques with him. Interestingly, Sasuke also used this time to push his own abilities further, training alongside Boruto. Official sources confirm that Sasuke and Boruto trained together to achieve new levels of strength. Here’s the official statement:

Current Sasuke Is Far Stronger Than Naruto

Okay, so as a huge fan, it’s pretty clear to me that Sasuke is currently way more powerful than Naruto. After Naruto lost access to Kurama’s power and was sealed, things shifted. Meanwhile, Sasuke actually went off and trained with Boruto, which is amazing! You can really see how much stronger he’s become, especially when you watch his fight against Code – it’s just a different level!

During his battle with Code, Sasuke faced two opponents: Code and Claw Grimes. Even without the power of his Rinnegan, Sasuke managed to severely injure Code by taking one of his eyes. Ultimately, Sasuke gave his life to protect Boruto, but he had already proven his strength by significantly harming Code.

This version of Code has been completely unleashed, removing any restrictions on his power. He’s so strong that even Jigen, who previously dominated both Naruto and Sasuke at the same time, now fears him. In fact, after Naruto and Sasuke trained, Sasuke alone – without even using his Rinnegan – was able to seriously wound Code, clearly demonstrating just how much more powerful Code has become.

Sasuke’s Sword Was Recently Upgraded In Boruto

I recently learned that Sasuke’s getting even stronger, and Boruto played a part! He delivered Sasuke’s sword to Sumire, who then upgraded it using her scientific ninja tools. Apparently, she really boosted its power and cutting ability – it’s incredibly strong now.

Sasuke’s new sword is incredibly advanced – it automatically blends with the user’s energy, making it much more effective, and it’s made from a completely new, mysterious material. This significantly strengthens his abilities before his return. Currently, Sasuke is more powerful than Naruto, creating a clear difference in their strength. However, once Naruto returns, he’s likely to gain new powers as well, which could change things.
