Those following the *Boruto* series are aware that it’s entering a really thrilling phase, with the biggest conflicts finally taking center stage. The start of *Boruto: Two Blue Vortex* introduced the Shinju as the primary antagonists, and now, as they begin to fall, fans are getting a glimpse of what’s to come.

Now that the Shinju has fallen, fans are anticipating the return of Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha, and it seems likely they’ll be thrown into big fights right away. Interestingly, the ultimate villain they’ll face in the *Boruto* series may have already been introduced. When they return, only one character appears powerful enough to challenge Naruto and Sasuke, and that’s Shibai Otsutsuki.

Akebi is likely to become one of them soon, and Shibai, a character previously introduced in *Naruto Next Generations*, will also be involved in future events.

Fans are excited to see Naruto, Sasuke, Boruto, Kawaki, and Sarada team up to defeat Shibai when he eventually becomes a bigger threat. However, that battle isn’t happening anytime soon, so viewers will need to be patient.
