The newest chapter of Boruto showed Boruto Uzumaki giving his sword to Sumire. He explained it was damaged during his fight with Jura because he wasn’t careful enough. He also gave her a scroll containing advanced technology – technology Kashin Koji obtained through his ability to see the future. This technology will significantly enhance Boruto’s sword, making it much more powerful. Sumire won’t have trouble upgrading the sword Boruto borrowed from Sasuke, and she’s expected to make some impressive improvements.

Everyone expects Sasuke Uchiha to fight with his sword when he returns, just as he always has. This means Boruto Uzumaki will likely give Sasuke his sword back – but it will be even more powerful than before. Sasuke will also unlock new skills that fans are sure to love, and these developments are coming very soon.
It’s confirmed that Sasuke Uchiha has become significantly more powerful during the time jump in Boruto. This new improvement to his sword will only add to his strength. Fans are now waiting for Boruto Uzumaki to rescue him after Hidari is defeated. When that happens, Sasuke is expected to make a powerful return.
