The latest chapter of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, Chapter 27, strongly suggests a major character might die soon. Kashin Koji, who can foresee the future, has warned of a new disaster that could lead to a significant loss and drastically alter things in Konoha.

Eida’s Life Is in Serious Danger

After the big battle in the Land of the Wind, the characters in Boruto are now getting ready to deal with a new danger: Mamushi is heading towards Konoha, determined to absorb Eida’s power. Mamushi has always been focused on Eida, driven by an instinct to consume her, similar to how Matsuri specifically targeted Konohamaru and Ryu focused on Gaara.

Chapter 27 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex suggests a dangerous future for Eida. Her increasing anxiety about being found by Mamushi implies that Daemon’s protection might not be enough. Eida even spoke about the possibility of Sarada and Sumire defeating her, as if she expects to die. This is particularly unsettling considering Mamushi’s goal is to resolve the conflict between the God Trees and Konoha.

Currently, the God Trees – powerful, human-like beings – are the biggest threat in Boruto. Led by Jura, who is essentially a young version of the Ten-Tails, they’re stronger and more dangerous than any villain we’ve seen before. What makes them so formidable is that they’re not only incredibly powerful, but also intelligent and can use special abilities. Plus, they can quickly heal from injuries, making them very difficult to defeat.

Though not as powerful as Jura, Mamushi is likely one of the strongest snakes in the series. As shown in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 27, he has a dangerous ability called Division, which lets him create multiple, fully powered copies of himself. As long as his eyes aren’t damaged, he can keep replicating, making him very difficult to defeat in a normal fight.

Mamushi’s division does have a weakness, but his rapidly growing army and relentless focus on capturing Eida mean he might succeed. If he does, Eida would be vulnerable, since she usually depends on Daemon for protection during fights. Without help, Daemon could be overwhelmed by Mamushi’s numerous copies, putting them both in serious danger.

Mamushi has been fixated on consuming Eida for a while, driven by both her status as his main target and his desire to acquire her powerful genetic code. However, Kashin Koji suddenly shares a disturbing prophecy: Himawari is in danger and may soon die, likely at the hands of Jura and the God Trees.

The newest installment of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex features Kashin Koji encouraging Inojin Yamanaka to master an advanced mind-reading technique. This technique was developed by a future version of Inojin, motivated by a desire to avenge his sister, Himawari. Though Kashin Koji didn’t directly state Himawari is in danger, his words heavily suggest a grim fate awaits her unless they can alter the events to come.
