Boruto: Kishimoto Reveals the Next Villain After Jura

This article contains spoilers from the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga.

The anime Boruto: Two Blue Vortex is starting a new story arc where Shinju Mamushi launches a dangerous attack on the Hidden Leaf Village. This retaliation comes after Boruto and Sarada defeated Shinju’s allies, Matsuri and Ryu, during their battle in the Land of the Wind.

Despite the current events, viewers anticipate that Jura and the God Trees will ultimately fall, paving the way for a new enemy to emerge. Fortunately, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex has offered clues regarding who this next villain will be, and fans are already starting to connect the dots.

Jura and the God Trees Will Be Defeated Soon

Jura and the God Trees Replaced Code

  • Jura and the God Trees are the most powerful villains in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex at the moment.
  • Jura and the God Trees replaced Code, but they will eventually be defeated.

When Boruto: Two Blue Vortex began, Code quickly became a huge threat to both Boruto Uzumaki and Naruto. He was incredibly powerful, even more so after Amado took away his restrictions. Many viewers believed he’d become the series’ primary villain, fueled by his unwavering loyalty to Isshiki Otsutsuki, his intense dislike of Boruto, Kawaki, and Naruto, and the powerful, incomplete Ten-Tails he controlled.

Code’s changes to the Ten-Tails unexpectedly led to the creation of Jura and the God Trees, quickly changing the power dynamics and diminishing Code’s importance. Now, Jura and others of his kind are the main threat, while Code has become less significant. The God Trees, from Jura to Mamushi, possess immense and destructive power that could potentially destroy the world.

Despite their strength, fans believe Jura and the God Trees will ultimately fall, just like Matsuri and Ryu already have. While Boruto and his friends aren’t strong enough yet to win, they’ll need to unlock new abilities, form alliances, and reach their full potential to succeed in the upcoming battle.

Akebi Sanzu Could Be the Next Villain After Jura

Amado Is Still Hiding the Truth About Akebi

After Jura, Akebi Sanzu is one of the most fascinating characters in Boruto. This is largely due to her connection to Amado – she’s his daughter – and the unanswered questions about whether she’ll return. Fans are eagerly waiting to see if she’ll be revived, as it could drastically alter the story and finally expose what Amado is really planning.

Long ago, Akebi passed away due to illness, but Amado was able to save her memories by storing them digitally. Now, bringing Akebi back to life relies on Kawaki. Amado is counting on Naruto Uzumaki’s adopted son to use a special mark, called Karma, on one of Akebi’s cloned bodies. This would allow her to be fully revived with her original personality and memories intact.

All my efforts have led to this moment. This is what I was meant to do.—Amado

Watching Akebi’s revival feels like a huge risk. If she comes back to life, she might fully transform into an Otsutsuki, and potentially an even stronger one than Momoshiki or Isshiki. It’s heartbreaking to think she could lose herself completely, becoming the very kind of threat Kawaki is desperately trying to prevent by protecting Naruto. If that happens, neither Akebi nor the one who brought her back, Amado, would be savable – they’d both be considered massive dangers to the entire world.

Shibai Otsutsuki Could Be the Final Villain of Boruto

While Akebi Sanzu is a likely upcoming threat after Jura, many fans believe Shibai Otsutsuki will ultimately be the main villain in the Boruto manga. Shibai is incredibly powerful, as he’s an Otsutsuki who gained godlike abilities by eating a huge number of Chakra Fruits and reaching a higher level of existence.

It’s likely Shibai will reappear towards the end of the Boruto manga, possibly by possessing someone or appearing in a powerful, god-like form. This return could spark a full-scale war against humanity, with Akebi potentially serving as the perfect host for Shibai’s revival. Her return could kick off a major new storyline, delving into Shibai’s comeback and the history of the Otsutsuki Clan.
