Boruto: Konoha Officially Reveals The Perfect Replacement For Hashirama Senju, And It’s An Even Stronger Ninja

As a huge fan of the Naruto series, I’ve always been blown away by Hashirama Senju, the First Hokage! He was seriously considered one of the most powerful ninjas ever. For a long time, nobody could really compare to him – only those who awakened Six Paths powers eventually reached his level. Even now, he’s a total legend, and Konoha still feels the loss of his strength and leadership. It’s amazing to think that Konoha might finally have someone who could live up to his legacy!

I’ve been following the Boruto series closely, and it seems like things are setting up Naruto Uzumaki to become the new Hashirama Senju. It’s interesting because, in a way, Naruto was always meant to follow in Hashirama’s footsteps as the Seventh Hokage. But now, things could go even further. With Naruto having lost the power of Kurama, it looks like he might develop Wood Release – the same ability Hashirama was famous for – potentially making him the next legendary figure of Konoha.

Naruto Uzumaki Is Already The Perfect Replacement For Hashirama Senju

Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha founded Konoha with the dream of ending the constant warfare and creating a peaceful world where children wouldn’t have to die in battle. While they didn’t achieve complete peace in their time, they laid the groundwork for it, and each subsequent Hokage built upon their efforts, gradually strengthening that peace over time.

Currently, the ninja villages are at peace – there aren’t any known conflicts between them. Hashirama was instrumental in establishing this peace, and his incredible power earned him the legendary title of God of Shinobi.

Currently, Naruto Uzumaki has already surpassed Hashirama Senju as the ideal successor. This is due to Naruto possessing a spirit of determination and hope – the Will of Fire – that is as strong, if not stronger, than Hashirama’s. Furthermore, Naruto’s power now exceeds Hashirama’s, solidifying his position as the natural heir.

While Naruto isn’t quite on the same level as Hashirama in combat yet, he has the potential to develop the same abilities in the future.

Naruto Has Wood Release And Sage Mode

As some viewers may recall, Naruto should currently be able to use Wood Release. This is a very rare, unique ability that originally appeared only in Hashirama Senju. While others gained access to it through Hashirama’s cells, nobody besides Madara could use it with the same skill as the First Hokage.

Wood Release is a special ability that requires both Water and Earth Release techniques, plus a rare genetic trait gained from Hashirama’s cells. Naruto, by the time he’s an adult, has mastered all five basic nature types. Crucially, he also possesses Hashirama’s cells thanks to the prosthetic arm created for him by Tsunade and Sakura near the end of the original series.

Naruto hadn’t needed to use Wood Release before because his power from Kurama and the Six Paths was already strong enough. Now that he’s lost those abilities, Wood Release has a chance to become a valuable skill.

As a huge Naruto fan, I always felt it was a no-brainer that he’d eventually unlock Wood Release – it’s practically written into his lineage! He hasn’t shown it yet, but it’s always been there as a possibility. And honestly, his Sage Mode is seriously underrated now. The manga made it clear it’s way more powerful than what we saw during the Fourth Great Ninja War, which is super exciting to think about!

With his enhanced Sage Mode and the power of Wood Release, Naruto is poised to become the new Hashirama Senju, surpassing him as both a more powerful Hokage and a symbol of hope for Konoha, inheriting Hashirama’s unique abilities and legacy.

Naruto Is Far Stronger Than Hashirama Senju

Just because Naruto learns the same abilities as Hashirama doesn’t mean their overall power is equal. In fact, Naruto is already far stronger than Hashirama was. He’s been more powerful than the First Hokage for a while, and as an adult, he’s capable of fighting on a godly level.

Even without the Nine-Tailed Fox, Naruto’s power level is high enough to challenge gods, making him more powerful than Hashirama. If Naruto were to learn Wood Release and combine it with his Sage Mode, he’d surpass Hashirama’s abilities completely.

Ultimately, giving Naruto this power could be a huge moment for fans of the Boruto series – but only if he comes back first. With each new chapter, Naruto’s return seems more and more likely, and when that happens, we might finally see this power come into play.
