In the latest chapter 19 of “Boruto: Two Blue Vortex,” fans witnessed yet another instance where a beloved Naruto figure was given short shrift.
Readers are generally not holding high hopes for Boruto chapter 20, and it seems unlikely that the portrayal of older characters in this chapter will exceed expectations.
Konohamaru Is Let Down Once Again
Konohamaru Is Unable to Do Anything Against Matsuri
In the Boruto anime series, Konohamaru has assumed a significant role similar to Kakashi’s within Team 7 from the Naruto series. Yet, despite this, he hasn’t quite met the level of fan anticipation as of now.
Chapter 19 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex doesn’t bolster his argument at all. Earlier, he had approached one of the Shinju, specifically Matsuri. In this chapter, he shares a few scenes with her, but he appears completely incapable of resisting Matsuri. Not only does it seem like he can’t fight back, but neither does he appear to be making any attempt to do so.
If I consume you, I would never need to endure these feelings again (Matsuri in Boruto TBV chapter 19).
By the close of Chapter 19 of “Boruto: Two Blue Vortex,” Konohamaru finds himself in a dire predicament, seemingly requiring assistance from his companions in the ensuing chapter to prevent him from being engulfed, if no help comes his way.
It doesn’t suit him at all, given his aspiration to become the Hokage. Unfortunately, he appears helpless in this scenario, which seems unbelievable, not just from a narrative standpoint but also detrimental to Konohamaru’s character development.

The “Boruto” manga continues and with the release of chapter 19, readers must endure a full month before chapter 20 is published since it’s a monthly series. You can catch up with the latest chapters of “Boruto” on Viz Media or Manga Plus whenever a new one becomes available.
In terms of the “Boruto” anime series, there’s a break right now and it doesn’t seem like it will come back for a while. We might have to wait quite some time until “Boruto: Two Blue Vortex” gets animated.
Currently, followers of the Naruto series have something exciting to anticipate – four additional Naruto anime episodes, delving into incidents preceding Sasuke’s departure from Team 7. However, as of now, the air dates for these episodes remain undetermined.
