Boruto Officially Crowns The True Successor Of The Second Hokage

Tobirama Senju, the Second Hokage in Naruto, doesn’t always get the recognition he deserves. As the younger brother of the legendary Hashirama, he often lived in his brother’s shadow, which meant his own accomplishments were frequently overlooked. While he might not have been the greatest Hokage, Tobirama was incredibly important to the founding and development of Konoha. He was a remarkably skilled and innovative ninja, even earning the nickname ‘The Inventor’ for creating some of the most powerful techniques the ninja world has ever seen.

Tobirama Senju was an incredibly innovative ninja, with only a few others reaching his level, like Orochimaru and Kabuto. However, the Boruto series introduces Boruto Uzumaki, who shows the potential to become just as innovative as Tobirama and perhaps even surpass him as a future leader.

The Second Hokage Was Known As The Inventor

The Most Intelligent Ninja of His Time

Tobirama Senju, the Second Hokage, was an incredibly skilled ninja, considered one of the best ever. He was exceptionally intelligent, even surpassing his older brother, Hashirama. Tobirama created many powerful techniques, including the Shadow Clone Jutsu, which Naruto used frequently. He also invented the Flying Thunder God technique, allowing him to teleport, and famously used it to defeat Izuna Uchiha, Madara’s brother. Other techniques he developed included the Edo Tensei and the Mutually Exploding Paper Bombs. A master of Water Release, Tobirama was a truly formidable fighter, and few could match his abilities.

Although Tobirama wasn’t as powerful as his brother, his intelligence surpassed even Hashirama’s. This is why he’s famously known as the Inventor, a title few shinobi can rival. However, Naruto’s son, Boruto Uzumaki, might eventually reach that level of ingenuity.

Boruto Uzumaki Is The Perfect Successor To The Second Hokage

Boruto Has Invented Many New Jutsu

Boruto Uzumaki is established as a naturally gifted ninja from the start of the Boruto series. Even when he was a student at the Academy, he had already mastered three different ninja elemental techniques, demonstrating his impressive talent. As he grew stronger, Boruto developed powerful attacks, sometimes through dedicated training and other times through fortunate discoveries. He invented the Vanishing Rasengan at a young age, a unique technique that set him apart. More recently, he created Uzuhiko, an even more powerful version of the Rasengan, further proving his exceptional skill and ingenuity.

Boruto can’t perform the traditional Flying Thunder God technique, but he’s developed his own version that’s exclusive to him. He’s essentially using the same principles as Tobirama, but in a new and inventive way. Boruto is a quick thinker in battle, able to adapt and use his intelligence to his advantage. For example, during his fight with Mamushi, he employed strategies similar to those Tobirama used against Izuna, allowing him to easily defeat many of Mamushi’s clones.

Boruto Uzumaki has created many unique techniques that haven’t been revealed yet. He’s currently the most innovative ninja in his group, much like Tobirama Senju was generations ago. In fact, Boruto is becoming known as the new inventor of jutsu, and a worthy successor to Konoha’s Second Hokage. However, unlike Tobirama, Boruto won’t become Hokage himself. Instead, he’s expected to protect the village from behind the scenes, similar to Sasuke Uchiha.
