This article contains spoilers from the Boruto series.
Sarada Uchiha, the daughter of Sasuke and Sakura, is a very promising character in Boruto. She inherited the powerful visual abilities of the Uchiha clan, as well as her mother Sakura’s incredible strength, healing skills, and control over chakra. These traits suggest she’s destined to become a skilled ninja in Boruto.
Sarada is remarkably mature and skilled for her age. She consistently demonstrates impressive power, whether it’s through her control of the Sharingan, her precise chakra management, her skill with shuriken, or her victories against experienced opponents. Throughout the Boruto series, Sarada has had many standout moments that suggest she has the potential to not only exceed her father’s abilities but also to potentially follow in Naruto Uzumaki’s footsteps one day.
Sarada’s Three-Second Win Against Tarui
Sarada’s Fastest Win in the Chunin Exams
During the Chunin Exams, Sarada faced off against Tarui, a ninja from the Hidden Cloud Village. Tarui was boastful and made fun of Sarada’s ambition to become Hokage. Sarada didn’t appreciate this and quickly showed him what it felt like to be on the receiving end of a strong attack.
Sarada quickly defeated Tarui in just three seconds, relying on pure strength instead of ninja techniques. Her powerful punch sent Tarui crashing into a wall. It was a decisive victory for Sarada and a humbling defeat for Tarui.
Sarada Beating and Outsmarting Araya
Sarada Showed Exceptional Combat Intellect
During the Chunin Exams, Sarada faced off against Araya, a ninja from the Sand Village. Araya initially had the upper hand with his puppet mastery and weapon skills, but Sarada quickly learned to counter his attacks and take control of the fight.
Sarada is incredibly intelligent, and her Sharingan ability lets her quickly understand her opponents’ moves and find their weaknesses. Because of this, she was able to quickly figure out Araya’s fighting style, correctly guessing where his actual body was hidden while he controlled the puppet in the arena.
Sarada Dispelling Kirara’s Genjutsu
Sarada’s Genjutsu Is Far Superior to Kirara’s
The Uchiha Clan is famous for its mastery of genjutsu, illusions that are stronger and more effective than anyone else’s. Their unique visual abilities let them easily create illusions and break those cast by others who aren’t part of the Uchiha Clan.
During her battle with Kirara, Sarada quickly broke free from Kirara’s illusion using one of her own, making Kirara think she was still winning. But Sarada had actually predicted Kirara’s attack beforehand. At that point, Sarada had already won, leaving Kirara trapped and with no way to counterattack.
Defeating Cho-Cho With Chidori
Sarada’s Chidori Finishes the Job
Sarada didn’t expect to be paired with her best friend, Cho-Cho, at the Chunin Exams. But that’s exactly what happened, and now they’re facing off in a one-on-one battle with everyone – including their friends and families – watching closely.
Cho-Cho fought with everything she had, even using techniques she’d learned from Choji. Meanwhile, Sarada combined her Sharingan and Chidori to strike the final blow. The battle was fierce, but Sarada’s Chidori broke through Cho-Cho’s defenses and ultimately won the fight.
Training With Sakura
Sarada Matching Sakura’s Fist
Sarada’s training with Sakura showed off their incredible power and determination. Their intense fight physically altered the battlefield, with rocks breaking apart from the impact of each hit.
Sarada really showed off her strength by meeting Sakura’s punch head-on. She didn’t back down at all, standing firm with incredible determination. Ultimately, she impressed both Sakura and her father, Sasuke, by exceeding their expectations.
Protecting Team 7 From Boro
Sarada’s First Successful Chidori
Watching the fight, I quickly realized Boro’s ability to heal was a huge issue for Sarada and her team. He kept coming back from serious damage, and his attacks were really powerful, constantly putting them on the defensive and making things incredibly difficult.
Sarada wasn’t one to quit, and neither were Boruto, Mitsuki, or Kawaki. They worked together to buy Sarada time so she could figure out how to finally defeat Boro.
Sarada, fueled by thoughts of her father and using the power of her Sharingan, managed to land a direct hit on Boro with her first-ever Chidori. It was a successful attack delivered in the midst of battle.
Killing Shinju Ryu With Ohirume
Sarada’s First Successful Mangekyo Sharingan: Ohirume
The Mangekyo Sharingan: Ohirume is a strong ability that uses gravity. It’s a completely new technique in the world of Naruto, unlike anything fans have seen before. With Ohirume, Sarada can float, similar to members of the Otsutsuki clan, and create incredibly dense, black spheres. These spheres have such powerful gravity that they can instantly defeat an opponent.
During the Land of the Wind mission, Sarada easily defeated the Shinju Ryu using her Mangekyo Sharingan, Ohirume. All that remained of Ryu was his Thorn Soul Bulb, which Sarada and her team then used to free Moegi, who was trapped in a tree.
