Post-war complications arose as Sasuke sustained an injury that resulted in the loss of one hand, which weakened him in combat.

This suggests a significant increase in Sasuke’s power levels since the timeskip. As of now, Sasuke is noticeably stronger than Naruto Uzumaki. If the Seventh Hokage reappears in the series, he will need to undergo rigorous training and strengthen himself considerably to match up with Sasuke.
