Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Finally Unleashes Daemon’s Full Power

The current story arc in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex is quickly becoming one of the most thrilling since the manga began. After Mamushi’s attack on Konoha, fans knew major fights were coming, and the latest chapter delivered. Boruto Uzumaki, Sarada Uchiha, and Mamushi all played key roles, but the focus was especially on Daemon, who fans were eager to see in action. Now, Konoha is facing its greatest threat yet, and each new chapter brings the village closer to destruction.

How Daemon’s Reflection Shinjutsu Abilities Work

I’ve been noticing a lot of backstory revealed about Daemon in Boruto recently, and the artist, Ikemoto, finally explained how his powers work. It turns out Daemon has an ability called Reflection, which is a special Shinjutsu technique originally from Shibai Otsutsuki. After Shibai became a god, they used his DNA to give powers to both Daemon and Eida. Eida ended up with Omnipotence, while Daemon got Reflection.

Daemon’s ability, while not overly complex, isn’t as powerful as many fans first thought. It works by reflecting any damage—even just hostile intent—back onto whoever attacks him, potentially destroying them. However, there’s a catch: Daemon has to be touching his opponent for the reflection to work. Without someone to touch, his combat effectiveness drops significantly. He really needs Eida’s support to fight at his best. Despite this limitation, Daemon is still a formidable fighter, showcasing incredible hand-to-hand combat skills – he quickly defeated multiple clones of Mamushi, for example.

Why Ikemoto Labels Eida’s Brother A Monster Prodigy

I recently read chapter 32 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, and it finally showed us what Daemon is capable of. There was a lot of discussion about how he stacked up against Boruto and Kawaki, but this chapter pretty much confirmed he’s stronger than both of them. Boruto even called Daemon a superhuman monster, saying his power is immeasurable. It seems like he’s on a whole different level, so much so that even someone as experienced as Mamushi would have a hard time fighting him.

The chapter also highlighted how much stronger Daemon is compared to Boruto, Sarada, and Kawaki. With Kawaki struggling to control his powers and Sarada passing out during battle, Daemon clearly stood out as incredibly capable. Right now, he’s undoubtedly the strongest among them, but even his strength might not be enough to protect them from the danger posed by Mamushi.

How Daemon Took Down An Army Of Shinju

The current storyline in Boruto has revealed the extent of Daemon’s abilities as he battles Mamushi’s forces. He relies on constant communication with Eida to unlock his full potential, allowing him to effortlessly defeat almost any of Mamushi’s clones when they attack. Daemon also demonstrated impressive strength in close-quarters combat, easily handling these incredibly powerful clones.

Daemon quickly defeated around fifty of the enemy using hand-to-hand combat. But when Sarada’s technique stopped working, their numbers swelled to over a thousand, making a complete victory seem impossible.

Assessing The Overall Power Level Of Daemon

Currently, Daemon is considered Konoha’s strongest fighter. Although Eida possesses the incredibly powerful Omnipotence Shinjutsu, Daemon is more skilled in actual combat. He’s even a step ahead of Boruto in terms of overall ability.

Kawaki is powerful, but he gets tired quickly, making him unable to fight effectively at the moment. Sarada has also been sidelined due to pushing her visual jutsu too hard. That leaves Boruto, Himawari, and Daemon, and Daemon appears to be the most capable fighter among them.

You can read chapter 33 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex on Manga Plus starting April 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time.
