The following article contains spoilers for Naruto and Boruto.
In the latest installment of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, fans were both amazed and let down by the turn of events. The chapter, though, halted an eagerly anticipated fight and made it evident that Jura possesses significantly greater power than both Kawaki Uzumaki and Boruto Uzumaki. This implies that our main characters must acquire substantial knowledge and skills to stand a chance against this formidable adversary.
Recently, Boruto has taken some captivating narrative paths, opting for less predictable routes on several occasions. The most recent chapter underscores that Jura is a compelling adversary, and in certain aspects, he poses a greater threat than the Otsutsuki clan, who have been the primary antagonists in the story.
Jura Is Stronger Than Fans Thought
In the initial stages of “Boruto: Two Blue Vortex,” the formidable adversaries known as Shinju Clones made their appearance. These entities, often referred to as Human God Trees or Divine Humanoids, are advanced and self-aware offshoots of Claw Grimes. Code, who possesses the Ten-Tails seedling given by Isshiki Otsutsuki, is credited with their creation. However, it’s important to note that despite being created by Code, the Shinju Clones view themselves as superior to him.
Shinju Clones are formed when an individual is ingested by a Claw Grime, which subsequently assimilates their chakra imprint, physical appearance, and potentially aspects of their character. The heart of these clones is the Thorn Soul Bulb, allowing for their repeated resurrection as long as it persists. Unlike other Shinju Clones, JJura’s template isn’t based on a person; instead, it is the Ten Tails. Initially, readers were aware that Human God Trees possessed immense power, but recent chapters have left many in awe due to Jura’s unexpected strength. At first, fans believed he had no hope against the Otsutsuki clan, but after witnessing his battle prowess and regenerative capabilities, they are reconsidering their views – especially since his abilities seem to surpass expectations given that they stem not from a typical person but from the Ten Tails.
Jura Doesn’t Underestimate His Enemies
- Jura is stronger than expected.
- He is not likely to underestimate humans, unlike the Otsutsuki clan.
- Jura has a lot of potential to become a fan-favorite villain.
Jura, unlike other Otsutsuki who scorn humans, shows an unusual curiosity towards them. His power and caution make him a formidable adversary, but what sets him apart is his intrigue about human nature. His intentions remain mysterious, yet it’s clear that he doesn’t belittle his enemies. Contrasting his earlier statement that love is a weakness, in the following chapter, Jura hinted at the duality of love – while it can be a vulnerability, it can also fortify him.
In my view, it appears that the events I’ve been observing share a common thread – a subject I’m deeply immersed in: the fascinating exploration of love.
— Jura
Following their unexpected surge in power due to their loved ones, he recognized the gravity of the situation. Unlike ordinary Otsutsuki, Jura is intrigued by this emotion that he appears to lack or fully grasp. This curiosity makes him a greater threat than usual Otsutsuki, as he’s likely to be better prepared when confronting Kawaki and/or Boruto in the future.
The Strongest Shinju Clone Wants to Learn About Humans
In the worlds of Naruto and Boruto, it’s no surprise to find villains who are oblivious to the concept of love. Few seem inclined to explore this emotion further, instead dismissing it as insignificant, annoying, or foolish. However, Jura stands out as one who appears uninterested in experiencing love himself, yet he is intrigued by understanding it. He recognizes that love sets humans apart from Shinju Clones and may approach its study with a scientific mindset, aiming to comprehend its workings, advantages, and vulnerabilities – much like a scientist investigating a new natural phenomenon.
In a somewhat refreshing twist for fans who might be weary of another antagonist devoid of love, the character Jura exhibits promising signs of deviating from the usual Otsutsuki pattern, making him potentially more formidable. Unlike Shibai Otsutsuki, should he reappear in the narrative, who likely would dismiss affection, Jura appears to be intrigued by love instead. This intrigue could lead Jura to eventually align with Boruto against the Otsutsuki. Uniquely, unlike the other clones that must be vanquished to free their original forms, Jura doesn’t seem to be inherently evil, suggesting he might not have to meet his end.
Who Will Defeat Jura in Boruto?
Regarding the 24th chapter of “Boruto: Two Blue Vortex,” it appears that Jura and Kawaki might engage in a fierce, action-packed confrontation in the future. Many spectators anticipate that Kawaki could end up defeating him. Nevertheless, there are those who believe that Jura may be defeated by a joint effort from Sarada Uchiha, Boruto, and Kawaki.
