A player recently discovered a way to permanently unlock a powerful weapon in the game Bully, twenty years after its release. Normally, players only get to use this weapon for a short time during one particular mission. The player shared a guide detailing how they used some basic glitches and exploits to obtain the weapon for continuous use.
While many Rockstar Games fans are eagerly awaiting Grand Theft Auto 6, a lot of players still enjoy the company’s older games. Titles like Bully, L.A. Noire, and Manhunt haven’t been updated or continued with new releases, which is disappointing for fans. However, players continue to revisit and even discover new things in these classic games.
Bully Player Unlocks Sledgehammer Normally Off-Limits
A player and YouTuber named JustGarrison has discovered a clever trick in the game Bully. While attempting a pacifist playthrough, they found a way to keep a powerful sledgehammer – a weapon normally only used during a specific fight in Chapter 3. You usually get the hammer by disarming an enemy named Norton, but it disappears once you leave the mission area. JustGarrison discovered a relatively simple workaround to keep the weapon even after returning to the open world in this 20-year-old Rockstar game.
How to Unlock the Bully Sledgehammer Everywhere
A recent video by JustGarrison shows a clever way to escape a fight in the game Bully. All you need is a trash can lid! During the fight with Norton, Jimmy can use the lid as a shield, which, when hit, sends him flying through some wooden planks. From there, players need to run down the nearby staircase, hide in a corner, and use a glitch while crouching to pass through a wall. This causes Jimmy to fall briefly into an empty space before landing outside the area. Normally, players are trapped inside during this fight, making this escape unusual. If Jimmy re-enters the building after escaping, a normally locked window will be left open.
After that, players need to get Norton, still carrying the sledgehammer, to come outside. Once he’s beaten, he’ll drop the sledgehammer, just like normal. Usually, in this game, you can only use the sledgehammer inside buildings, and it disappears when you leave. But because of how this sequence is done, the game doesn’t register that you’ve left, so Jimmy gets to keep the sledgehammer and use it wherever he wants. A player named JustGarrison demonstrates its power, showing how it can knock out students and easily defeat even tough opponents like Bif. The sledgehammer consistently knocks enemies down, and with good timing, players can keep them from recovering and attacking back until they’re completely defeated.
As a big Rockstar Games fan, I’m always amazed by how many secrets they hide in their games! Just recently, players started finding these really strange spiderweb symbols in Red Dead Redemption 2, and apparently, even the developers were surprised anyone had discovered them after all this time. It’s so cool when we, as players, stumble upon hidden mysteries or find creative ways to play that the developers didn’t even plan for – like that famous sledgehammer trick in Bully! It really adds to the fun and keeps us coming back for more.
