In the game ARC Raiders, the Buried City Residential Master Key unlocks three special doors within the Buried City area. Because it’s an uncommon item, it’s easier to find than rarer keys. This guide will show you where to find the key and where to use it to open those locked doors.

How to Get the Buried City Residential Master Key in ARC Raiders (Location)

The Buried City Residential Master Key is a rare item you can find while exploring houses and buildings in ARC Raiders. It appears randomly in places like drawers, cabinets, suitcases, or on shelves. Here are some of the best spots to search for it during your runs.

Dam Battlegrounds Players can check out the Pale Apartments, Ruby Residence, and the Pattern House on each run of Dam Battlegrounds to get the Buried City Residential Master Key. These areas are on the outskirts of the map, so they’re relatively safe from PvP action (unless a player spawns next to them).
Buried City Two of the best locations to find the key in Buried City are the Grandioso Apartments and the group of houses east of the Abandoned Highway Camp (same location mentioned in TopMob’s trinkets guide). Compared to locations in Dam Battlegrounds, these areas will have high raider activity, so be careful.
Blue Gate One of the biggest residential locations on the Blue Gate map is the Village. Located in the northwestern part of the map, the area consists of several abandoned houses with multiple floors. Players can find several residential containers while exploring this location. However, there’s a increased chance of encountering hostile raiders here during the Locked Gate event. As a bonus location, you can also solve the Raider’s Refuge puzzle to enter its cellar, which usually has a high chance of containing the Buried City Residential Key in ARC Raiders, especially during Night Raid.

Where to Use the Buried City Residential Master Key in ARC Raiders

The Buried City Residential Master Key unlocks three apartments on the Buried City map: one in the Grandioso Apartments, another near Main Street, and a third locked apartment in the Red Tower district.

Apartment on Main Street

To reach the Main Street apartment, go to the spot labeled ‘Door 1’ on the map above. You’ll find the entrance at street level, and you can unlock it with the Buried City Residential Master Key in ARC Raiders. Inside, there are two floors to search, and you’ll find a decent amount of loot.

Locked Room in Grandioso Apartments

Of the two locations, the locked room in the Grandioso Apartments is the better place to try using the Buried City Residential Master Key. To get there, enter the Grandioso Apartments building at the location shown on the map. Then, go to the elevator shaft and ride down to the bottom level.

Go into the room directly off the hallway – you’ll find a locked door there. Use the Buried City Residential Master Key to unlock it and begin searching the apartment. Be sure to check everywhere, including both rooms and even the balcony, which you can reach by breaking the glass.

Red Tower Locked Loot Room

In ARC Raiders, the final locked room needing the Buried City Residential Master Key is within the buildings beneath the Red Tower. Go to the designated location, and look for a sandy hill leading down between two buildings.

Go through one of the windows shown in the earlier picture. You’ll enter an abandoned building with a hole in the wall. Go through that hole on the right, and you’ll see a locked room right under the stairs.

This room includes a number of containers and cabinets that look like furniture you’d find in a home. To maximize the loot you get from using your key here, it’s best to visit during a Night Raid.
