As you explore the world of Disney Dreamlight Valley: Wishblossom Ranch, you’ll discover lots of new recipes. One easy meal to make is Button Stew, a 2-Star dish that only needs two ingredients. Luckily, those ingredients are simple to find! Here’s how to cook Button Stew in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How To Make Button Stew In DDV – Disney Dreamlight Valley
To cook Button Stew in Disney Dreamlight Valley, simply combine one Button Mushroom and one Carrot at any stove.
Button Mushroom Location
You can find Button Mushrooms growing on the ground in the Glamour Gulch area. This area is the second one you’ll unlock—you’ll need to locate the remaining Crystal Key to proceed with the challenges.
You don’t need to search the entire Glamour Gulch for a Button Mushroom – they appear everywhere. First, finish the Crystal Cavern: Wishing Alps quest to unlock Maximus. Then, become friends with him up to level 3, which allows him to jump across the bridge and into Glamour Gulch.
Need more Button Mushrooms? You can find them by unlocking new areas of the game. Just be aware that some areas require you to finish quests for Cruella De Vil or use Khan to clear obstacles before you can access them.
Carrot Location
You can find carrots in Disney Dreamlight Valley by visiting the Peaceful Meadow. You can either buy them directly from Goofy’s Stall, or purchase carrot seeds and grow them yourself – it takes about 15 minutes for the seeds to grow into mature carrots.
Combine a Button Mushroom and a Carrot to make Button Stew, a 2-Star dish. You can eat it to restore energy, give it as a daily gift to a character or your horse (if they like it!), or sell it for Star Coins.
Button Stew Issue In DDV – Disney Dreamlight Valley
Okay, so I’ve been playing Disney Dreamlight Valley with the new Wishblossom Ranch expansion, and I’ve noticed a weird bug! When I try to make Button Stew, it’s actually giving me Tasty Veggies instead. It kinda makes sense though – carrots are vegetables, and the game seems to be treating button mushrooms like a spice, so it’s probably mixing things up and deciding it’s just a veggie dish!
There’s been some discussion about whether the Button Mushroom should be reclassified in the game to address a problem where it won’t stay in the cooking pot, often disappearing shortly after being added. Fortunately, Gameloft is typically quick to fix these kinds of bugs and offers players compensation for the inconvenience.
