Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Players Have Serious Problem With Nuketown Point B

As a dedicated fan of the Call of Duty series, I have seen my fair share of map controversies, but Nuketown’s point B in Black Ops 6 takes the cake. The sheer chaos that ensues when trying to capture it is reminiscent of a grenade-filled warzone. It’s like a magnet, pulling in explosives from all corners of the map. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve found myself a victim to this relentless barrage, often wondering if Flak Jacket was just a cruel joke.

Players of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 are encountering significant problems with capture point B in the Domination game mode on Nuketown. Among all locations across every map in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, point B in Nuketown might be the most hectic spot in the entire game.

Nuketown, undeniably, holds a special place among the maps in “Call of Duty” series. It has graced every installment within the “Black Ops” franchise, earning popularity due to its compact layout and non-stop action. This attribute makes it a go-to choice for players seeking quick progress on their camouflage, as another skirmish is always imminent just a few seconds away. Nuketown made a return in “Black Ops 6” shortly following the game’s release, though at that point, its inclusion was more of a formality. The Nuketown 24/7 multiplayer mode has become a standard feature, and continues to be one of the most frequently played modes in the entire game, despite its single-map format. However, there exists an issue with Nuketown when it comes to the Domination game mode.

In a video uploaded by Redditor Prizzog, we learn why seizing Point B in Domination mode on Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s Nuketown is such a challenge. The spot is minuscule and can be struck by grenades from any location across the map. As a result, throughout the entire game, Point B essentially functions as a magnet for grenades, making it incredibly tough to control. Even with the Flak Jacket perk, it’s nearly impossible to endure the continuous barrage of explosives being dropped on the capture point.

B on Black Ops 6’s Nuketown is a Grenade Magnet

There are some who feel that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 punishes players who play the objective. Capturing point B on Nuketown can often take several lives, with players feeding themselves into the meat grinder to capture the flag. It’s hard to dispute that objective players are being massively punished because right now, death is near certain. One user in the thread joked that when a teammate puts down a Trophy System onto the capture point, “I just want to give them a fat kiss.” There’s clearly a sentiment that point B is too tough at the moment, but the solution is tough. Expanding the site is a possibility, but even then, there isn’t much room to work with in that area of the map.

I’m hoping Treyarch manages to come up with a solution that pleases everyone, but let’s face it, that’s easier said than achieved. For now, they’re pressing ahead with Season 1 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, adding more features along the way.
