Call Of Duty: MW3 & Warzone – How To Unlock The JAK Voltstorm

Call Of Duty: MW3 & Warzone - How To Unlock The JAK Voltstorm

As someone who’s spent countless hours in the battlefields of Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, I can confidently say that the JAK Voltstorm is a weapon that packs quite the punch! This bad boy can take down unarmored opponents with just a single shot, and if you’re lucky, you might even get a multi-kill in one go.

In a spine-tingling twist, Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone’s Haunting Season 6 have ratcheted up the eerie intensity. This update introduced the much-anticipated Zombie Royale mode for Battle Royale, accompanied by an array of terrifyingly awesome content within the Battle Pass. Despite players continuing their quest to unlock all the Battle Pass offers, such as the currently trending DTIR 30-06 Battle Rifle, Week 4 of Modern Warfare 3 delivers another Aftermarket Part for unlocking.

The JAK Voltstorm is an additional accessory for the Stormender, one of the limited launchers in Modern Warfare 3. Although the Stormender primarily serves to take down Killstreaks, the JAK Voltstorm transforms it into a potent close-range weapon for eliminating Operators. Unfortunately, the weapon itself cannot be customized, so players won’t be able to create a powerful loadout with it. However, it can still provide enjoyable and quirky gameplay within Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone.

The JAK Voltstorm is a weekly reward that players can unlock by completing any five of the Week 4 Challenges for Season 6 of Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone. These challenges are available in Multiplayer, Zombies, and Battle Royale, making the JAK Voltstorm relatively accessible regardless of what modes players dive into. Aside from unlocking the JAK Voltstorm, each weekly challenge also provides an XP reward, along with bringing players a step closer to unlocking the Drawn And Quartered Camo.

Here is a quick breakdown of all the available Week 4 challenges players can complete:

In contrast to Warzone Mobile, the method to unlock the JAK Voltstorm follows a unique approach. Rather than through traditional means, players must spend their earned Arsenal Coins in the Arsenal Store to acquire the JAK Voltstorm.

The JAK Voltstorm will continue to be a weekly reward throughout the entirety of Season 6. After Season 6 concludes, it will become available in the “Armory Unlock” section for players who haven’t claimed it yet.

How Good Is The JAK Voltstorm?

In both Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, the JAK Voltstorm serves as a potent weapon, capable of taking down unarmored enemies with a single bullet blast. Furthermore, if multiple targets are clustered closely together, you can potentially eliminate them all at once. Similar to the standard Stormender, users must charge the JAK Voltstorm by holding down the Fire button before discharging it to unleash a powerful shot. However, this weapon shines best in close combat, as its damage range falls short when moving into medium ranges. As a result, the JAK Voltstorm may not be the ideal choice in Warzone, and players might find more success with a reliable Shotgun instead.

As a fan, I can confirm that this applies to zombie games as well. The Pack-A-Punched JAK Voltstorm, unlike others, sheds off its charge-up time and fires immediately upon pulling the trigger. What’s more, its range is dramatically increased, allowing for one-shot kills of most low-threat zone zombies from an apparently infinite distance – as long as you hit your target directly. The Pack-A-Punched JAK Voltstorm also packs a punch in both medium and high threat zones (assuming you’ve upgraded the weapon to Tier II or higher with a high-rarity Aether Tool). Although it might not be the best weapon for zombies, it certainly adds an exciting twist to your gaming experience.
