As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent in the magical realms of Tamriel, I can’t help but feel a twinge of excitement upon hearing about The Elder Scrolls Castles making its way onto my beloved PC! Despite my preference for the grandeur of Skyrim on a keyboard and mouse, the allure of ruling over a medieval castle in this pocket-sized adventure is simply too strong to resist.

Indeed, Blizzard, while I do possess a smartphone, I don’t often utilize it for mobile gaming. Instead, I find myself more comfortable with a PC setup, immersed in the world of my games with a mouse and keyboard at hand. However, just as many others, I’ve been keeping an interested eye on Bethesda’s latest mobile game release. Now that it’s accessible to all on both Android and iOS platforms, I am eagerly looking forward to experiencing The Elder Scrolls: Castles on my PC!

Is The Elder Scrolls Castles Available on PC?

Although The Elder Scrolls Castles isn’t designed for PC play, you can still enjoy this point-and-click adventure game using an emulator such as Bluestacks. This third-party application allows you to set up a client on your computer and then access the Android Play Store. Once logged into your Google account, you can browse the mobile storefront just like playing on your smartphone, downloading any games or apps you wish to run on your PC.

Look for The Elder Scrolls Castles in the BlueStacks application, download the game, and run it when you’re prepared. If you see a blank screen instead, shut down the game and reopen it.

What is The Elder Scrolls Castles?

Just like Fallout Shelter, The Elder Scrolls Castles invites you to establish a miniature realm of your own. Instead of overseeing a vault, you’ll be in charge of building a medieval castle within the fantasy setting, managing the kingdom, battling adversaries, personalizing each room according to your tastes, and engaging with distinctive characters and races from The Elder Scrolls universe.

This game offers 20 distinct stages, engaging gameplay elements, diverse environments, and lots to discover. If you’re a long-time admirer of The Elder Scrolls series, this could be worth your attention during downtime, but keep in mind it may not consume hundreds of hours like Skyrim did. Regrettably, it doesn’t offer the same level of depth as Skyrim.

Apart from The Elder Scrolls Castles, it’s worth noting that another game in the prolific series, Elder Scrolls Online, has been generating a steady income of approximately $15 million per month for the last decade.
