Capcom recently shared its plans for the future in its 2025 integrated report, as noted by Rockman Corner. COO Haruhiro Tsujimoto revealed the company is working on new games, remakes, and ports for its popular franchises. Capcom aims to maintain a strong annual profit growth of 10% or more and sell 100 million software units each year. They’re concentrating on key franchises like Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, and Street Fighter, with plans for new installments, remakes, original games, and bringing existing content to current gaming systems.
Capcom releases a couple of big new games every year, but they’re working on creating even more. They own well-known franchises like Devil May Cry, Ace Attorney, and Mega Man, and plan to reach more players and boost sales by releasing new games, updated versions, and ports of these titles on new gaming systems. Ultimately, they want to strengthen these franchises and build dedicated communities around them.
Capcom recently revealed that work on Resident Evil Requiem began before Resident Evil Village was even released.
