As a seasoned gamer who has been following Capcom for years and witnessed the evolution of Monster Hunter since its humble beginnings, the announcement of Monster Hunter Wilds at Gamescom 2024 feels like Christmas came early! I’ve spent countless hours hunting monstrous beasts in the previous iterations, and the thought of diving into a new world with fresh mechanics like Focus Mode, Seikret mounts, and the tantalizingly teased insect glaive weapon is nothing short of exhilarating.
Today, Capcom officially announced their complete collection of games set for Gamescom 2024, with Monster Hunter Wilds spearheading the list.

At Gamescom 2024, you’ll get your hands on the world’s initial playable version of Monster Hunter Wilds for the first time. There will be a total of 60 interactive demonstration stations set up specifically for this purpose during the event.

More recently, Capcom has been intensifying its promotion efforts for Monster Hunter Rise. This week, they quietly released three fresh gameplay summary trailers, subtly hinting at numerous upcoming enhancements.
As a gaming enthusiast, I can’t help but get excited when Capcom drops another tantalizing hint about the upcoming insect glaive weapon! Alongside the Focus Mode and secret mount mechanics, this new teaser has me buzzing with anticipation.
During the Summer Game Fest 2024, Capcom unveiled Monster Hunter Wilds. Although a specific launch date hasn’t been set yet, we can expect it in the year 2025. You’ll be able to play it on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 systems.
As a lifelong fan of fighting games, I am beyond excited to share that Street Fighter 6 is set to debut at Gamescom with the playable character Terry Bogard! For those who may not be familiar, Terry is a mainstay in the iconic Fatal Fury series. I vividly remember spending countless hours playing these games as a child and marveling at Terry’s agility and powerful moves.
At Gamescom 2024, Capcom showcases their roster of games, which now includes “Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess” and “Monster Hunter,” marking the former’s debut and the latter’s first anniversary celebration with dedicated booths.
