Carmageddon: Rogue Shift Gets New Gameplay Trailer

34BigThings, the developer behind the game, just released a new trailer showing off gameplay from the upcoming Carmageddon: Rogue Shift.

Carmageddon: Rogue Shit will be available on February 6th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. It was first announced in early December 2025.

Okay, so I’m super excited about the new Carmageddon! From what I’ve read, it’s bringing back all the crazy, over-the-top car combat we loved, but this time it’s a roguelite. That means every run will be different, and you’ll be constantly upgrading your car to take on endless waves of zombies. They’re saying it’s a fresh take on the classic, and it sounds seriously challenging – but in a good way! It’s like the Carmageddon we know and love, but even more intense.

Players will experience a roguelite campaign filled with unpredictable events and challenges. Each playthrough is different thanks to branching maps, but you’ll carry progress between runs. You can customize and upgrade 15 different vehicles – everything from tanks to classic hot rods – and equip them with over 80 perks across 13 weapon classes.

Because it’s a roguelite, the developers at 34BigThings promise that each playthrough will be different, featuring a randomly created map. To keep things fresh, they’re including branching paths, varied challenges, and changing weather and time of day.

You can watch the gameplay trailer below. Let us know what you think in the comments, or join the discussion on the official TopMob Discord server.
