I’m really excited about the latest Battlefield 6 update! DICE added a new mode called ‘Casual Breakthrough’ right in the main multiplayer menu, and it’s awesome for anyone just starting out. Basically, it lets you level up and get into the action, but you’re mostly fighting against bots, which is a much more relaxed way to learn the ropes.
EA announced that each team will have eight human players and sixteen computer-controlled players.
Bots Are Making Life Easier
Dedicated Battlefield players have long believed modes like this should be limited to the Portal experience, but Electronic Arts has now added Casual Breakthrough to Battlefield 6. This new mode features bots and lets players earn progress towards their career, weapons, and battle pass, as well as complete challenges and unlock new items.
You’ll get less experience points for defeating computer-controlled characters (bots), but you’ll earn full rewards when you defeat human enemies.
At first, only the Siege of Cairo and Empire State maps were included in the rotation, but EA DICE said they’ll be watching player feedback to see if they need to make further changes later on.

Career stats, dog tags, and achievements aren’t really connected to the main multiplayer gameplay.
People had a lot of different reactions to the post, but many supported the change. The general feeling was that if someone doesn’t enjoy it, they don’t have to use it, which is a fair point.
We’re a little worried players might find a way to exploit the new Casual Breakthrough mode to quickly earn experience points, but we trust Electronic Arts is monitoring the game closely to prevent that from happening.
