This town is located to the north from where I start in the game. It’s worth mentioning that Pawt Purvanna has this town, but it’s not the main attraction compared to another spot within the same location.
To the east lies a cave known as Booty Cave, where players will encounter Patchy. As they venture inside, Patchy will deceive them and transform into a boss fight. Overcoming him rewards players with his entire wardrobe: Patchy’s Claws, Patchy’s Hood, and Patchy’s Coat. These items are useful for enhancing stats, and the weapon, Patchy’s Claws, is an excellent melee choice for a game such as Cat Quest 3.

Straits Island lies north of Pawt Purvanna. It’s best to steer clear of the eastern coast due to formidable Ice Pi-rats, but keep them marked for future confrontation. The western side offers an appealing destination. Initially, players should aim their ship’s cannon in a circular motion going backward (counterclockwise) and fire at the rocks.
In my adventure through Cat Quest 3, I discovered an exciting perk: engaging with the Magical Punching Bag grants access to a nifty item – it regenerates Mana whenever I’m struck! Notably, in this region’s chilly northern tip, there lives a grumpy feline fisherman named Grumpy Fishercat. He offers a delightful side-quest for players, where we must coax a local fish into a trap, setting the stage for an intriguing main quest further down the line. Completing this task rewards us with the adorable Fishercat Hat! This hat boasts some impressive power: it amplifies damage dealt in watery environments, making it a must-wear accessory during my sea voyages.

They’ll tell you about how they misplaced their keys, leading to a subplot involving an island-exploring adventure for the players. Upon finishing this side mission, players will receive the Knight Shield as a reward. Classified as a weapon, it can also be utilized in offensive strategies, similar to a feline-themed replica of Captain America’s shield.
4 Ruined Castle
Boosting Your Ship’s Power
- Location: Great Purrier Reef
The Crumbled Fortress sits on a vast island to the east of Pawt Purvanna. Towards the southern tip of the island, adventurers catch sight of the moniker Great Purrier Reef. Within this labyrinth, players can discover the gunpowder supply, Cannon Reload. When reloaded with this ship-related gadget, the ammunition becomes more potent.
In addition, the Meowchine Gun is an effective weapon in the early stages of Cat Quest 3. Upon leaving this area, players should venture westward on the island to encounter a group of roaming wild boars. This band of boars is headed by The Boar King, who may prove to be a challenging foe for our diminutive cat hero. However, overcoming him will yield the Magma Cannonpaw, an exceptional ship enhancement that complements Canon Reload superbly.
3 Lovepurr Castle

Nestled on the distant eastern Lovepurr Islands lies Lovepurr Castle, the pivotal spot in our game. This castle is where players can discover the restorative spell, Healpaw, which gradually replenishes a player’s HP. Compared to other RPGs, healing in Cat Quest 3 isn’t quite as straightforward.
Strategies often involve advancing your character or taking breaks at designated spots, known as checkpoints. Healpaw introduces a feature that resembles a White Mage’s abilities, making it simpler for players to conquer tougher opponents. For now, let’s set aside the specifics about additional quests it initiates.
2 Orion Ruins
Get A Ton Good Early Gear
- Location: Meowtallika’s Bay
The Orion Ruins are brimming with equipment, and you’ll find this labyrinth in Meowtallika’s Cove, roughly halfway on the map. In this area, players can engage in battles against Captain Meowtallika and his crew. Among the loot, they can acquire the Meowtallika Shirt and Helm, which offer protection from lightning damage.
Down at the very end, I get to battle the ghost boss, Seeker Orion. If I manage to defeat him, I’ll earn the Orion’s Cavalier, a hat that increases my lightning damage output. Plus, there’s the Blade of Orion, a sword that lets me teleport around during final combos and dodge rolls – it’s almost as slick as Noctis’ teleportation sword abilities in Final Fantasy 15.

After passing the initial point, players have two options: trace the white spots on the water’s surface or head straight South and then East until they come across a group of black and white felines. These cats symbolize the development team at The Gentlebros., a compact indie studio behind this game series. If players assist them in locating their scattered letters, they will be rewarded with two cosmetic accessories and The Architect, a fairly powerful rod weapon.
