As a passionate gamer, I’ve been eagerly anticipating Remedy’s latest release, Firebreak, since their critically acclaimed masterpiece, Alan Wake 2. Stepping into Control’s universe, this time-tested developer has crafted a thrilling team-based first-person shooter (FPS). It’s a striking departure from the narrative-driven games Remedy is known for, and while the gameplay previews have shown promise, the launch hasn’t quite hit the mark yet.

According to a recent study spotlighted by PlaySafe ID, an astounding 80% of video game enthusiasts (as per the report) have encountered a cheater while playing online games. This has resulted in nearly 42% of gamers pondering over leaving their chosen game due to the rising number of cheaters.

The game kept me engaged right up until the end due to its intriguing puzzles, eerie surroundings filled with paranormal activity, and the use of my special abilities. It was constantly exciting because things were always unfolding. The game could switch from a chilling horror experience to an intense action scene in an instant. For quite some time now, there’s been a strong call for a sequel, and it looks like we might be getting closer to it.

To earn the Megaentomology Badge, you should endure an attack from an Antlion and manage to survive. You can find these Antlions in the Mesa biome within PEAK. These creatures dwell in enormous, bowl-shaped sand pits. The pits are easily identifiable from a distance due to large circular dents in the sand and a piece of luggage strategically placed at their center to attract players.

For years, as an ardent follower of the franchise since the 2009 debut, I’ve delved into every Borderlands game, from the main titles and their substantial DLCs to the numerous spin-offs developed by Gearbox. However, throughout this journey, I’ve never chosen a Vault Hunter class that is synonymous with the series’ essence and lore. But in the upcoming release of Borderlands 4, I’m excited to break from tradition and make that long-awaited choice.

The quality of Remedy’s work on the initial Max Payne series was outstanding. Both games were commercially successful and are recognized for their groundbreaking bullet-time effect (which gained fame from The Matrix) and distinctive aesthetic. Afterward, Remedy passed the franchise to Take-Two Interactive, resulting in Rockstar Games developing Max Payne 3 – another triumph.
