Nintendo Switch 2 Cartridges May Be Changing
It might not be immediately apparent, but the fact that Switch 2 comes with a sole storage option of 64 GB has significantly impacted the choices of multiple developers. Given that many games developed for this platform require less storage space than what is provided, studios have been compelled to distribute game-key cards as a cost-saving measure instead of preinstalling the games. These game-key cards don’t contain any actual game data; they merely grant permission to download the game digitally. This has sparked controversy among some Nintendo enthusiasts even before the console’s debut.
