Despite being a major hit for EA and DICE, Battlefield 6 has had some problems. This week, the developers fixed a glitch in the new Strikepoint mode that let players unfairly earn up to 2 million experience points. They had to temporarily limit XP gains in that mode while they work on a lasting fix. While a permanent solution’s release date is unknown, players are hoping it will arrive with next week’s update, which is expected to bring back the Lock-Guided Missile for the IFV.

After a year off, the latest installment in the popular Football Manager series, Football Manager 26, launched on PC, consoles, and mobile devices on November 4th. However, the launch was rocky, with players quickly leaving negative reviews across all platforms. Common complaints included problems with the user interface, missing features, bugs, and an overall lack of refinement. Currently, the game has over 3,000 “Overwhelmingly Negative” reviews on Steam, and averages just 1.83 and 2.1 stars on the PlayStation and Xbox/Microsoft Stores.

The open beta for Football Manager 26 was initially exciting, promising a strong return for the series. However, players quickly found the beta version was full of bugs and difficult to use. Issues continued to mount, turning what should have been a positive experience into a frustrating one. When the full game launched, it didn’t meet player expectations.

It feels like a clear attempt to quickly make money. They reuse popular elements from a successful game, but deliver a noticeably lower-quality product that was clearly rushed. Often, these mobile versions aren’t even similar to the original game – sometimes they’re completely different, like a simple pinball game or something equally strange.

They’re starting strong with a series of updates for players. This month’s ‘North Line’ update will include a new map, event, enemies, items, and quests. Then, in December, the ‘Cold Snap’ update will add a snowy map condition, new quests, and other additions.
