The new game, *Pokemon Pokopia*, seems heavily inspired by *Minecraft*. With so many possibilities, and considering how unique other *Pokemon* spin-off games have been, it could be very innovative. Right now, all we know comes from the official debut trailer, so let’s break down the gameplay details and features it revealed.
Borderlands 4 features four unique characters, called Vault Hunters, each with special abilities and skill trees. Harlowe is a resourceful engineer, Rafa is a stealthy exosoldier, Amon is a powerful and tough fighter, and Vex is the Siren – a character who can create copies of herself or her companion, Trouble, in battle. Players can customize each Vault Hunter with three different abilities, and extensive skill trees, to create powerful builds. These skills, including Kill Skills and Attunements, work together to help players easily defeat enemies.
Game Pass Core gives subscribers access to a collection of at least 25 games that stay available for a longer time than games in other Game Pass plans. The library features popular titles across many different genres, so there’s something for every type of gamer. Some of the games currently included are *Fallout 4* and *76*, *Doom Eternal*, *Dishonored 2*, *Tunic*, *Stardew Valley*, and *Elder Scrolls Online*.
PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members get more than just the games included with their subscription. They also receive the free monthly games available to Essential members. Right now, subscribers can claim September 2025’s free games, which are a great lineup including *Psychonauts 2*, a 3D platformer; *Stardew Valley*, a popular farming and life simulation game; and *Viewfinder*, a unique puzzle game.
Digimon Story: Time Stranger is a role-playing game where you battle using turns and build a team of Digimon to tackle different obstacles. The game includes Digivolution, special Agent Skills, and a Digimon Personality System to help in battles. Early looks at the game also show features designed to make battles move faster. Players will be able to collect and train many popular Digimon like Agumon, Veemon, and Gomamon as they progress through the story.
Before chasing Vog, players need to collect 15 Lost Fleas and guide the Flea Caravan to the Grand Gate.
When the PlayStation 5 (PS5) launched in 2020, it cost $500 with a disc drive or $400 as a digital-only version. Unlike previous consoles which usually became cheaper over time, the PS5’s price has consistently increased. For instance, the digital version saw a $50 price hike in 2023. Just last month, prices in the US went up again to $500 for the digital edition, $550 for the standard version, and $750 for the PS5 Pro. Europe has experienced similar increases, with the Digital Edition reaching €500 in April 2025.
Fans of *Jujutsu Kaisen* have a lot to be excited about! Gege Akutami’s spin-off manga, *Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo*, is now available, with two chapters already released. The story takes place seven years before the original and focuses on new characters – siblings Yuka and Tsurugi Okkotsu – rather than Yuji Itadori.
The *Marvel’s Spider-Man* Universes Beyond set is generating excitement and will be released on September 26th, followed by the *Avatar: The Last Airbender* collection on November 21st. While those are the last planned releases for this year, some information about *Magic: The Gathering* in 2026 has already surfaced. Considering these collaborative sets will likely continue, I think one particular partnership would be especially successful.
I’ve been playing the *Destiny* franchise since the first game came out in 2014, and I’m pretty sure I’ve sunk close to 5,000 hours into it across all the platforms. I know there are players out there with way more time in, but I play a ton of different games, so that’s a significant amount for me. Honestly, playing all those hours gives me a real edge with *Borderlands 4* – it feels so much like *Destiny* in a lot of ways, and I just *get* things that someone new to Bungie’s shooter might not.
