As a gaming enthusiast who loves racing games, I can’t get enough of that heart-stopping feeling of driving the fastest cars at breakneck speeds. Yet, not all racing games manage to convey this sense of velocity equally. The developers of hardcore simulators usually stick to realistic physics and don’t use many tricks to amplify the speed sensation. On the other hand, arcade racing games are renowned for their techniques that create an over-the-top, pulse-pounding experience.

Currently, Silent Hill is given another chance to thrive, as they’re remaking Silent Hill 2, which is generally considered the most beloved and highly praised game within the series. This is an excellent opportunity for fans to re-explore the eerie fog, and the diverse personalities that once roamed it, both old and recently introduced.

For more than 14 years now, PC gamers have been yearning to get their hands on “Red Dead Redemption”, but unfortunately, they’ve only been able to watch from a distance, missing out on one of Rockstar’s finest games. 2024 Fall season brings a host of eagerly awaited anime adaptations, including Kōji Miura’s “Ao no Hako (Blue Box)”. Initially appearing as another high school romance anime, it offers an intriguing blend of core themes: the turbulent path of adolescent love intertwined with the intense excitement of sports. The manga has been running in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump since 2021 and often tops the magazine’s weekly rankings, demonstrating its immense popularity among Japanese manga readers.

Horror games thrived on the PlayStation 1 due to its unique analog capabilities, which enhanced the unsettling, dreamlike visuals. This console’s features have served as inspiration for many modern indie developers. While the PlayStation 1 had a plethora of excellent horror games like “Resident Evil” and “Silent Hill”, there were also some truly chilling and overlooked titles that never reached American shores.

Next year, we’ll be seeing a game titled “Tales of the Shire: A Lord of the Rings Game” which lets players design their own little hobbit character. Being the first comfortable game set in the universe of “The Lord of the Rings“, there’s a lot of anticipation surrounding “Tales of the Shire“. Thankfully, most updates on the game have been favorable so far, boasting customization options that compete with other games in its category, cooking and relationship dynamics, and the chance to craft and personalize an entirely distinct hobbit character.

Players are facing numerous problems with the remake of the game “Until Dawn” by Supermassive Games, leading to considerable frustration. Unlike other PlayStation games that Sony has released on Valve’s platform, “Until Dawn” is currently experiencing a lower player count than expected.
