Initially, McMahon made a name for himself in 1990 on the popular Australian soap opera “Home and Away.” This success eventually paved his way to Hollywood, where he landed lead roles in TV shows such as “Profiler” and “Charmed.” In 2003, McMahon’s career took a significant leap when he was cast as Dr. Christian Troy on FX’s hit series “Nip/Tuck.” He portrayed Troy until 2010, appearing in a total of 100 episodes of the critically acclaimed medical drama before transitioning to his role as Doctor Doom fifteen years later.
