Fans are excited to find out what happens next in Frieren, but they’ll have to wait a little longer. The anime is taking a one-week break, so Frieren Season 2 Episode 6 will now air on February 27, 2026. While a break isn’t ideal, it gives everyone a chance to catch up on other shows.

Originally announced in 2022, the release of Replaced has been delayed several times. Further delays followed, and in August 2025, a Spring 2026 release was targeted. Finally, in December 2025, a firm release date of March 12, 2026, was announced.

The upcoming Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced remake managed to avoid a recent round of cancellations at Ubisoft, likely due to strong fan interest and positive early feedback. Unfortunately, several other projects weren’t so lucky. These canceled games include the remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, as well as projects known as Aether, Pathfinder, and Crest.
