Gearbox has shared its plans for 2026, including a new timeline for upcoming updates. Following the recent addition of the popular Photo Mode in a January update for Borderlands 4, players can look forward to Bounty Pack 2 later this month and the game’s first major expansion soon after. While both of these will be paid downloadable content, Gearbox will also release a significant free update alongside Bounty Pack 2, introducing Pearlescent rarity gear and weapons to give players new items to collect. Plus, Gearbox is preparing to reveal details about the first Story Pack.

To make sure the new episode of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms starts on time, HBO has moved up the release date for Episode 4. Unlike with Game of Thrones, where episodes were sometimes delayed to avoid holidays, HBO is actually releasing this episode two days early.

Amiibo figures first appeared with the Wii U, especially with the game Super Smash Bros. on that console. Players could use them within games to unlock items or just collect them. While some Amiibo figures have become quite valuable—the rarest ones have sold for over $1,000—they remain popular with Nintendo fans. Now, Resident Evil Requiem is getting its own line of Amiibo figures.

For over a decade, Matthew Mercer has been the Dungeon Master for Critical Role. However, during the show’s fourth campaign, Brennan Lee Mulligan from Dimension 20 took on that role. Mercer doesn’t plan to leave Critical Role anytime soon, but it’s possible he could in the future. While it’s hard to imagine the show without him, Critical Role could continue successfully – and even flourish – with a different Dungeon Master.
