The Division has become a very successful series for Ubisoft, leading to a sequel in 2019, a mobile game, and a third installment currently being made. Currently, The Division 2 is experiencing renewed popularity thanks to ongoing updates, new seasonal content, the ‘Battle for Brooklyn’ expansion, and special events, including the return of the popular Survival mode with exclusive rewards. 2026 will mark the 10th anniversary of The Division, and Ubisoft has hinted at announcements throughout the year, though the recent release of a Definitive Edition has surprised some fans.
