Simon Williams is a hopeful actor facing unfair rules designed to keep people with powers from performing. He successfully hides his abilities until he meets fellow actor Trevor Slattery, and their lives quickly become complicated. The two form a close friendship and both achieve their acting dreams, but Simon discovers Trevor has been secretly working for the DODC, causing a major rift between them. Though Trevor ultimately protects Simon by taking the blame for something, Simon – known as Wonder Man – refuses to let that sacrifice go unanswered.
