PlayStation’s recent State of Play presentation highlighted the games coming to PS Plus in the next few months. PS Plus Essential members will receive Big Walk later this year. For February 2026, PS Plus Extra subscribers can look forward to Echoes of the End, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Monster Hunter Stories (1+2), Neva, Rugby 25, Season: A Letter to the Future, Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, and Venba.

Okay, so if you’re like me and Steam is where I do most of my gaming, you need to snag these rare games when they go on sale. A lot of them are made by Valve themselves, but I’m leaving out the original Half-Life because it ended up on PS2, and Half-Life 2 too, since it was part of The Orange Box which meant you could play it on PS3 and Xbox 360 – and honestly, it still runs great on those older consoles!

The Resident Evil series has evolved significantly, especially with the success of the 2019 Resident Evil 2 remake, which helped solidify its place in the survival horror genre. While these ambitious remakes are important, traditional sequels like Resident Evil 7, Resident Evil Village, and the upcoming Resident Evil Requiem are still crucial for keeping the series fresh and moving the story forward. According to reliable insider Dusk Golem, Capcom plans to continue balancing remakes with new games. However, it seems the company is overlooking another important type of Resident Evil title – spin-offs – which have historically expanded the game’s story and allowed for unique creative approaches.
