As a long-time fan, I have to admit I’m a little frustrated with where the Boruto series is going. It’s been over 30 chapters now that Naruto has been sealed away! I get the idea of letting Boruto and the new generation take the lead, and it’s clear the creators, Kishimoto and Ikemoto, are really committed to that, saving Naruto’s full return for what looks like the very end of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex. It’s just tough seeing such an iconic character sidelined for so long, even if it is to build up the next generation of ninja.
