The next update for Monster Hunter Wilds, titled Title Update 4 (version 1.040.00.00), will be released on December 16th. The download size will be around 11GB for PlayStation 5, 10GB for Xbox, and 12GB on Steam. If you’re using the high-resolution texture pack, the update will be larger, at 21GB. You’ll also need to update your graphics card driver when you install it.

Players can find monster eggs, even rare ones like those of Rathian, and hatch them. They can then raise these monsters and release them back into the wild, which helps strengthen the ecosystem and can even create unique, mutated monsters like Dreadqueen Rathian. Some monsters will also adapt to their environment, gaining new abilities – for example, a Zinogre in a fiery area might become a fire-based monster instead of its usual thunder type.

Gogmazios doesn’t just walk around – it can also fire a devastating laser beam that destroys everything nearby. It even takes to the skies to unleash a laser attack before crashing back down, forcing hunters to find cover. These attacks are visually impressive, and come with rewards beyond just new armor. Players can craft powerful Gogma Artian Weapons, each with a unique skill bonus and a randomly assigned group skill.
