In a recent interview with PC Gamer Magazine, game designer Liang discussed how the Huangxing boss changes when the game is played on the more challenging ‘Hellwalker’ difficulty. He explained that on the normal setting, Huangxing fights like many ‘Souls-like’ games – he has predictable attack patterns that players can learn with practice. It’s a familiar cycle of learning through repeated attempts, similar to the ‘die, die, die, learn, win’ approach common in those games.

I was immediately excited when I learned about the expansion. In the expansion called “Legacy of the Forge“, there’s a lot of fresh content that revolves around the character Henry, who aims to rise through the ranks and ultimately become a master blacksmith. Upon joining Kuttenberg’s blacksmith guild, he acquires the privilege to renovate an old, legendary forge which happens to be the same workshop where his adoptive father Martin trained him prior to the storyline in “Kingdom Come: Deliverance“.
