Players will soon face a super-powered version of the Guardian, called Zoh Shia, as part of the new Hope of the Ancients Event Quest. Capcom announced this 10-star monster isn’t quite as challenging as an Arch-Tempered monster, but it will still be a tough fight. The quest becomes available on March 4, 2026.
To mark its eighth anniversary, the developers of Kingdom Come: Deliverance have released an upgrade for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. This allows players on those consoles to enjoy the game with improved performance and graphics, no longer needing to play the older version through backwards compatibility.

Originally launched for Nintendo Switch in March 2021, Monster Hunter Rise came to other consoles in January 2023. Many consider it one of the best role-playing games in recent years, and it was a contender for Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2025. What sets it apart from other medieval RPGs is its commitment to historical accuracy, avoiding fantasy elements and faithfully recreating Bohemia as it was in 1403. It’s a significant improvement over the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance, which came out in 2018. The game is designed as a single-player experience, but fans are already working on modifications to add multiplayer options.
The game will feature eight companions, and their stories will change based on your decisions. They can remain loyal allies or leave if they disagree with your choices. These companions aren’t just part of the story; they’re also valuable in battles, each with unique abilities tied to their past and skills. You’ll be able to directly control them in combat, or let them fight on their own.

After successfully creating three globally popular games, Dan was ready to explore new creative opportunities.
The latest update introduces three new playable races, offering more character customization options. However, the game’s director, Gabe Paramo, has stated that these new races won’t have special dialogue choices like some of the existing races, such as humans and elves.
A year is a significant amount of time, and during that period, Capcom has been constantly updating the game – with some changes being more successful than others. Now, those efforts are really becoming noticeable on Steam.
