CD Projekt Red’s dev team now consists of 851 developers, adding over 50 more since July 31, 2025.
CD Projekt Red is currently holding its Q3 2025 earnings call, sharing updates on the company’s finances and other news. They’ve announced that Cyberpunk 2077 has now sold 35 million copies. The company is also growing its development team, adding new developers to work on all of their current projects.
CD Projekt Red Has 851 Developers Working Across All Projects
CD Projekt Red’s recent Q3 2025 presentation showed a total of 851 developers working on various projects. The largest team, with 447 developers (up from 444 in July), is focused on the next Witcher game. Cyberpunk 2 has the second-largest team, currently at 135 developers, an increase from 116. The teams working on Project Sirius and Project Hadar have also grown, from 51 to 56 and from 22 to 29 developers respectively.
The Shared Services team now has 162 developers working on a specific category, an increase from 149. They also have 22 developers working on another category, up from 17. Previously, the team discussed the early stages of Cyberpunk 2 and expanding their Boston office. Development started in 2023 with fewer than 50 developers, and the team has since grown to almost 150 by 2025. They plan to exceed 300 developers by 2027. Recent hiring included over 60 developers in July, nearly 30 in May, and over 50 in March.
