This technique, which can be manipulated so easily, has become almost instinctive for many current competitors, often resulting in criticism from their peers. In the ongoing CDL Minor I tournament, player ‘Sib’ from team C9 was clearly seen performing this action, and other professional players have pointed it out.
On social networking platforms, LAT’s Ghosty announced that he had initiated a poll to ban Cloud 9 NY from professional scrimmages for a week due to Sib’s underhanded behavior (snaking) on the Hacienda map during a Hardpoint game.

In response to Ghosty’s branding on social media, Sib didn’t shy away or try to escape it; instead, he openly acknowledged it by raising his hands as a gesture of acceptance.

Strangely, Sib asked Ghosty to maintain consistent energy throughout the entire year. He explained that by the time of the tournaments, players don’t show interest in GAs (General Assemblies), and by the time of COD Champs, everyone stops talking about it. In response, Ghosty spoke with confidence:
Even though we can’t argue that “Champs” is the final event, I feel it’s important to establish a new precedent for this situation since we have historically been lenient with infractions during previous seasons. In our current discussion, a one-week timeframe will not align with past penalties.
In a light-hearted manner, other professional gamers such as Royal Ravens’ Gwinn joined the conversation. He playfully inquired whether Ghosty has been appointed as the official commissioner of GA, a role that seems to be vacant and greatly needed.
