This season when gamers fire up EA Sports’ Madden NFL 26, they’ll spot an alteration within the game’s commentary crew. More precisely, the in-game audio is going to appear distinctly new.
As reported by Jordan Schultz from Fox Sports, Scott Hanson – known for his work on NFL RedZone – will take over as the new in-game host for Madden 26. This role was previously held by Johnathan Coachman for a considerable time.

Though the details aren’t disclosed, it appears that Hanson is expected to lend his voice in this game, both when players enter and during halftime. At present, it remains unclear whether additional voices will join Hanson for his role in Madden 26 as Electronic Arts (EA Sports) has not yet fully disclosed the game’s features.
This upcoming Madden 26 is anticipated to be unveiled during late spring or early summer, preceding a summer launch. Similar to last year’s Madden 25, its first reveal took place in June with the announcement of the cover athlete. It seems reasonable to expect that Electronic Arts (EA) might stick to the same timeline for this year’s game as well.
The confirmation came during the April 2nd Nintendo Switch 2 Direct that Madden football games will return to Nintendo consoles after more than a decade. Madden 26 and EA Sports FC are set to debut on the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 later this year.
As stated by EA, both titles will offer similar features found on other platforms, depending on the capabilities of the hardware.
