However, his last appearance was in Chapter 296, where he was arrested along with other members of his group. Since then, neither he nor any mention of him has appeared in subsequent chapters, which is quite disheartening given his formidable villain status.

However, following a short yet impactful meeting with La Brava, Skeptic was subsequently apprehended by Hound Dog and disappeared from view thereafter. This raises the question: what became of him and the Meta Liberation Army’s message after his incarceration? It seems that author Kohei Horikoshi may not have intended to provide these characters with fulfilling resolutions, as many were left largely undeveloped in the storyline.

In the Meta Liberation Army Arc, events perfectly demonstrated this dynamic, as the storyline began when Re-Destro abducted Giran, prompting the League of Villains to attempt his rescue. However, it’s quite unusual that a character who had such a significant role in a well-liked arc later disappeared from the narrative and has been largely forgotten by many fans, despite his earlier claims of having no involvement with the Paranormal Liberation Front.

7 Oboro Shirakumo / Kurogiri

A Heartbreaking Storyline With An Underwhelming Conclusion

The story of Oboro Shirakumo, an old friend of Shota Aizawa and Present Mic who died in an accident and was later forcibly turned into a Nomu named Kurogiri by All For One, is quite tragic and heartbreaking. This was definitely one of the most emotional plot lines of the final arcs of the series, yet its resolution left a lot to be desired.

Kurogiri’s final appearance in the story was during the climactic confrontation against All For One, when he was killed by Bakugo after the tyrannical villain used him as a human shield. His horrible death generated little-to-no reaction from the other characters and, aside from a very small panel in the final chapter, it was barely acknowledged by Aizawa and Present Mic. This was quite a letdown for what was such an interesting storyline.

6 Gigantomachia

Like Kurogiri, Gigantomachia served as a prominent villain within the League of Villains, being All For One’s most formidable creation and loyal servant. Essentially acting as his personal protector, Gigantomachia’s power and various Quirks made him one of the greatest dangers to the heroes during both the Liberation War and the Final War.

However, during the Final War Arc, the heroes cleverly influenced Gigantomachia to turn against his own master. As a result, All For One cruelly ended his life. Regrettably, no further details about this formidable giant were disclosed after his sudden and unjust demise, which is unexpected given his distinctive nature and potential threat level.

5 Ordinary Woman

Initially, a woman known as the Ordinary Lady was presented as an ordinary civilian whom Deku rescued after she faced prejudice due to her physical appearance. However, since this character was last observed bidding farewell to the U.A. students in chapter 342 and hasn’t been seen since, it would have been fulfilling to witness how societal improvements initiated by Shoji and Koda during the Final War Arc positively impacted her life as well.

The Provisional Hero License Exam Storyline saw many students from various Hero Academies, but none stood out quite like Inasa Yoarashi from Shiketsu High School. His impressive Whirlwind ability, flamboyant character, distinctive outfit, and heartwarming rivalry with Shoto Todoroki made him a beloved figure among fans in no time.

Following his initial scene, Inasa played a pivotal role during the Final War Arc, teaming up with several of his peers to battle All For One and Gigantomachia. However, his subsequent appearances or mentions were absent at the story’s conclusion, leaving many wondering about his fate. Given his significant contributions, fans had hoped he would graduate from his hero school and become a revered Pro Hero. Unfortunately, these questions remain unanswered.

It Was Never Confirmed If He Returned To Normal

As the Ninja Hero, I played a crucial role during the Final War Arc, largely because I managed to rescue Katsuki Bakugo by pushing my Foldabody Quirk to its absolute limit. However, due to how my Quirk operates, this heroic deed came at a great cost to my own body, leaving me shrunken and resembling an endearing little worm-like figure. I was last seen in that state.

After Bakugo inquired about whether Edgeshot’s size would return to normal, the Ninja Hero vaguely answered, and thereafter, Edgeshot was never seen again, not even after the time leap mentioned in the last chapter. Consequently, it remains unclear if Edgeshot ever regained his body or resumed his hero career, as this peculiar absence left his fate undetermined.

Kaina Tsutsumi, more commonly known as Lady Nagant, is a sorrowful outcome of Japan’s imperfect Hero System. She was exploited and tainted by the Hero Public Safety Commission, later becoming a tool for All For One in an attempt to thwart Izuku Midoriya. However, even after suffering the trauma of a forced self-explosion, Lady Nagant ultimately contributed to the heroes during the Final War.

In the 426th chapter, she expressed fear towards the outside world to Hawks and decided to stay confined for some time. Whether or not Lady Nagant conquered her fears enough to experience the transformed society that Izuku, Hawks, and others built remains uncertain. It’s unfortunate because her story was filled with tragedy, making it intriguing to witness how society might have embraced her as the heroine she deserved to be recognized as.

1 Mr. Compress

His Shocking Revelation Went Nowhere

Mr. Compress, with his peculiar magician-like attire and useful special ability, stood out as a captivating member among the founding members of the League of Villains. Not unlike his associates, he too had a significant and impactful role during the Paranormal Liberation War. It was then unveiled that he was a descendant of the Peerless Thief, a notorious villain whose name echoes through Japanese villainy’s storied past.

This was an unexpected revelation and Mr. Compress used it to his advantage in order to greatly help the League of Villains, but he was immediately captured and was barely seen again following that. He was seen having a brief conversation with Geten during the Final War and had a small cameo during the final chapter, but nothing else was revealed about his great-grandfather, his past or his motivations, which was rather disappointing. It isn’t even clear if he was ever released from prison or not.
