According to Reddit user LawfulnessSure125 (who referenced a post on another forum), “Horii quickly covered his mouth as if he had said something secret.” This account was also confirmed by attendee TheFishyOne, who stated that they and others cheered at the mention of a Chrono Trigger remake. TheFishyOne further shared that the event translator requested Horii’s confirmation, to which he replied, “You didn’t hear anything.” However, we have not been able to independently confirm these reports.

Chrono Trigger Remake May Be Happening

As a dedicated gamer, I can’t help but feel a spark of anticipation when I consider the possibility that Chrono Trigger could be getting a remake.
