REPO, a cooperative horror game scheduled for release in 2025, is currently available to play for free until November 3rd. It’s received very positive reviews on Steam, and unlike many games that offer free weekends, REPO is giving full access to everyone to celebrate a special occasion.

Many people believe REPO is a major reason Steam has seen increased profits from cooperative games. The unique game reached nearly 270,000 players at its most popular point and remains a frequently played title since its release in February. Despite still being in early access – which might give some players pause – now is a great time to try it, as REPO is currently on sale with a very attractive offer.
REPO Celebrates the Monster Update with Free Weekend Offer
Developer Semiwork announced on Twitter that their co-op horror game, REPO, will be free to play until November 3rd – giving players a full weekend to check it out. This free access celebrates the launch of the game’s major new update, ‘Monster,’ which released on October 30th and adds lots of fresh content like new rooms, enemies, and upgrades. Importantly, this free access is completely unrestricted, meaning Steam players can experience everything in REPO, including all previous updates and the new ‘Monster’ content, without owning the game.
Players overwhelmingly love REPO – 96% recommend it on Steam, making it a top-rated horror game. It’s currently on sale for around $6 USD (usually $10), so it’s a great time to try it out with less commitment. This discount is available until November 13th, giving anyone who’s tried the free demo time to decide if they want to buy it.

I’ve been checking out REPO, and it’s a really cool game where you and up to five friends go into scary places to grab valuable stuff – it’s all about those extraction missions. If you loved Lethal Company, you’ll probably really like this one too – it’s got a similar vibe! It mixes horror with teamwork and exploring randomly generated locations. But if you’re looking for something really scary and less funny, Phasmophobia is another great option. It’s a more straight-up, serious co-op horror experience.
Besides REPO, several other games are currently offering free play on Steam. You can also try Cities: Skylines 2 and Crusader Kings 3 for free, but these offers won’t last forever. Cities: Skylines 2 is available to play without charge until November 10th, while the Crusader Kings 3 free weekend ends earlier, on November 3rd.
